By the way did anyone read in yesterday's (9 Jan) papers about people in different parts of the island seeing a large and fiery green streak or green flash in the sky for a few second at about 7.40 pm.? One observer said it looked as if something had 'burst through the atmosphere". But experts say it is just an uncommon "green flash". |

U.S. sends stealth fighter planes to South Korea Tue Jan 9, 2007 9:47pm ET US says N Korea likely to test again SEOUL (Reuters) - The United States is deploying a squadron of stealth fighters to South Korea, a U.S. military spokesman said on Wednesday, amid speculation that North Korea may be ready to test a second nuclear device. The United States is sending about 15 to 20 of its F-117A Nighthawk fighters to South Korea, the spokesman for U.S. Forces Korea said. "This is a routine deployment," said Kim Yong-kyu. "It is a regular operational matter. The U.S. military has sent the radar-evading fighters regularly to South Korea for stays of a few months over the past few years. Hi Ebay, normally when earning results are announced, the share price would have been factored in already. So, most of the times, prices will drop temporarily due to profit taking. |

Shplayer, I do not understand why the institutions may be selling ahead of the reporting season? esp when "Most blue chips and other stock are expected to report favourable results for FY2006." I do not understand the working of this. My simplistic understand is that stocks will go up when they report +ve results. Can you please enlighten me? Thanks alot! Answers from all other forumers welcomed too. |
