Only Cheo Family able to tell, if Cheo able to acquire more than 90% , you have no way to bargain with them for the offer price and seen they are doing now.

Results will be out next wednesday 27/2 after trading hours. Mewah has been accumulated for quite awhile at 0.5. Something maybe brewing soon and I believe this quarter result should have improved as the Cheo family is acquiring more. Stay vested.
Mewah International Inc. (the “Company” and together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”) wishes to announce that the Group has decided to restart the installation of the refinery in Sabah, Malaysia.The refinery with installed capacity of 2,000 MT per day or approximately 700,000 MT annually is expected to cost RM225 million (equivalent to approximately USD73 million) and will be funded from IPO proceeds, internal accruals and external borrowings. The refinery is expected to be completed by end of financial year 2013. The refinery will increase Group’s refining capacity from 2.8 million MT to 3.5 million MT which at 80 to 90% capacity utilisation is expected to produce 2.8 to 3.1 million MT of refined oil. Group achieved total sales of 3.6 million MT of refined oil for the financial year 2011. |

Why you so confirm ? last year before result release , Cheo family did buy in the share but last year result is dissapointed. Hope this round as you said , it is good result.

If recap Dec announcement , Cheo family control 86% and followed by Jan 13 married deal and open market purchase, the cheo family should own the share very near to 90%. i think just a matter of time to privatise, but the problem is the offer price may not favarouble as they just need to got 1-2 % then can force minority to sell them the share. | ||
