i think igmarkets really no.1 good rates and good platform ..

Don't Buy Shit from them DBS is crappy.. really really crappy... totally horrendous.

0238 GMT [Dow Jones] Keppel Corp. (BN4.SG) off 0.9% at S$10.88 and SembCorp Marine (S51.SG) +0.2% at S$5.09 after offshore & marine newspaper Upstream reports Petrobras is set to cancel a tender for chartered ultra-deepwater rigs, which would be built in Brazil (the tender's Section C), after receiving bid prices more than 20% above average global rates. "This is not surprising...we had earlier noted that there were no international drillers in Section C, as international players could be deterred by higher costs of building the units in Brazil," says local broking house in a report. Adds, Keppel is the only Singaporean yard participating in this section, leading the market to expect Keppel to win more work vs SembMarine. But says the situation is "fluid" and "nothing is guaranteed until the final award of rigs." Though it is still too early to conclude who the winners are, the house remains optimistic about Keppel's and SMM's chances. (matthew.allen@dowjones.com)

0439 GMT [Dow Jones] Straits Asia Resources (AJ1.SG) is off 1.6% at S$2.48, extending decline from S$2.80 December high, down 11.4% since then, hurt by investors' concern over delays to obtaining permit for Northern Leases area of its Sebuku mine. CIMB, which has Underperform rating, pushes back its entire production schedule for Northern Leases and now assumes the earliest production would start is FY12; other risks include limited reserves and execution risks. But the house raises the target price to S$2.27 from S$2.01 on upgraded benchmark coal-price assumptions; says the outlook for the thermal coal market is underpinned by strong demand from China and India, driven by increased electricity demand and more coal-fired power plants coming onstream. Kim Eng also cites SAR as a key beneficiary of expectations of robust Indonesia coal production growth, which industry watchers forecast at around 11%/annum in 2009-15. hmmm i think whole morning quite a number of the posts here talk about cfd vs cash trading

i personally think that whether cfd or cash trading, both has its own risks. i prefer cfd because it allows me to get stocks with lesser capital outlay.
