Yes. It means they will give a total dividend of 31 cents per share, 6cents ordinary and 31 cents special. Special dividend is because they make good profits this year.

Hi, may I know what it mean by special dividend of 25 cents? Mean it will give another extra 25 cents during ex-date together with the 6 cents dividens? Final ordinary dividend of 6 cents per ordinary share one-tier tax exempt and final special dividend of 25 cents per ordinary share one-tier tax exempt |

okay, i will cover my short if rebound, but it seems this week might see more drop since the regional market may be fearful for japan crisis..... intervention is too difficult for such sad disaster....

Phillip ups Sembcorp Marine to $6.60, keeps buy
Phillip Securities Research has raised its target price for Sembcorp Marine (SCMN.SI), the world’s second largest oil rig builder, to $6.60 from $5.69 and kept its buy rating.
Phillip said it expects Sembcorp Marine’s share price to see a re-rating, helped by a strong rig renewal cycle, robust oil prices and an increased preference for premium rigs. Sembcorp Marine, which recently secured two contracts worth $427.6 million to build a pair of jackup rigs, has seen order wins of $1.5 billion so far this year, lifting its outstanding order book to about $5.9 billion, Phillip said.
The brokerage said it expects Sembcorp Marine to see earnings per share of 36.3 cents this year, down from 41.4 cents last year.

It sunny day after the winter. I observe that the trading volume is light for the past 3 days, which means not many people willing to buy or sell at this present price. I have received 12 booklets from sembmar this week. It was sent to my house of the same address. nowadays, the F.bk comes with a CD. I still prefer the old days type which comprises of pages only. Seems like human tends to rely more on technolohy this days and the oldies were being neglected.
