Any Live of Neutral wire got contact with ground(wire, new standard Green n Yellow stripes), the cct breaker will trip instancely, to protect live n household being caught fire.

In this instance, according to manufacturer,  the adaptor  could be mault function, the low voltage DC  cable could hv conveyed the leakage AC high voltage to the metal wrapped handphone and passing the killing HV to the human heart via hand, fastest if via ear side. Sometime ago there was adaptor explosion causing serious injury on head, I think in Hong Kong. Sources claiming the then the exploded adaptor was not the genuine one.

I used a leather case for my Iphone, just in case. Avoid using HP in open air when weather is bad, especially when u feel your hair r standing up, meaning high static r surrounding u, risky.

Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke said last week the US central bank would maintain its growth-oriented policies " for the foreseeable future" . But some analysts expect its $85 billion-a-month bond purchases to taper off in coming months, possibly in September.

Monday - Credit rating agency Moody's downgraded Singapore's three main banks to " negative" from " stable"

" These have increased the probability of deterioration in the banks' credit profiles. banks here  have been operating in a favourable environment for an extended period amid low interest rates and strong regional economic growth.

Domestically, household debt increased to 77.2 percent of gross domestic product as of March 2013 from 64.4 percent at the end of 2007, with private property prices growing 120 percent during the same period.

" Regionally, we observe similar or even more dramatic trends," Moody's, noting that Singapore banks generate more than 37% of their revenues from overseas markets.

A tightening of US monetary policy is a " potential trigger" .

IMO, Yuan is still a long way in replacing USD or Euro as a reserve currency.

However, Yuan will be gain importance as a reerve currency.... as a hedge.

Yuan can only be a preferred reserve currency when the Govt is more transparent and abide by international rules.

The future for China in about 2 years will be good as the world slowly and steadily exchanged their USD for CNY which eventually will act as most central banks standard currency for trade, and finally we can see the Chinese Yuan replaces the USD as the reserved currency. When that happens, China stocks and HSI will shoot up, and the DOW and US stocks will collapse.   There are very valid reasons behind this, but it will take some time to happen.
