For MD, I use it to see whether there is a possibility of a run and also to gauge how much a counter can go when it moves up. MD is more reliable  to check how much it can go. Take for instance ISOTeam. On Friday the big sell queue lots end at 43. So roughly there is a possibility it can it can moves to 425 or 43. It did moves to 425 but not 43. Of course it doesn't mean that the sell queue lots will always be the same. As a counter moves up, the queue lots at MD can change. You will also need to check the resitance price. Take for instance if the resitance of a counter is 42. And the big sell queue lots at MD end at 45. There is a higher chance of breaking the resistance. If the big sell queue ends at 43, then it may not break the resistance because it can touch 43 and then comes down to 42. If you notice freight link MD on Friday, if I remember correctly when the market just started, there were already big sell queue lots until I think 135-136. Can't remember corectly.  BBs may not  put all the sell queue there. As it moves up, they will put somemore if the price is going up further.  For ISOTeam, BBs didn't put  big sell queue lots after 43  when  they starts to eat up 42-425, then likely it won't go further. If I see this, I will not  try to buy. TA is good. 3K  may look expensive. I personally also don't think it will be able to break 133-134. Not only that, I believe they will retaliate and fight back to take back 135-136 this coming week. There are charts like Chartnexus which provide 3 years historical data, and you can also use it to draw trendline or whatever. Besides that, if you trade very often, you will have enough point to subscribe for a detail chart together with all the indicators and important information like sorting out of stocks which hit 52 weeks high etc. $3k to attend the course is not expensive if you are trading regularly. I also spent about $3k for the TA course and that was I think 20 years ago. Now is consider cheaper. TA do helps a lot but cannot depend on this alone. Watching live trading is very important. After watching for a long time, you may roughly be able to gauge whether the counter have potential to move further or have loss power. Huat ah! It broke a quite good support of 84 on Friday and it's going to test 80 soon.  Although this is not the all time low, but after March 2010, it has never drop below 80.  In April 2013 it touched 80. If this time it is going to test 80 again, it is not easy  to break. I would see a rebound if it touch 80 unless the market sentiment is really bad. Next strong support is 75. Also not easy to break. Should be able to make some kopi money if you are able to buy at 80. Huat ah!
