Yes, it is abit high on my entry price. i bet on that the previous all time hight of 5.70 has been holding quite well as support now. i don't have the credit suisse report. if i read it somewhere else, will post it here then.

Anyway, i think yours entery price was quite high for sembmar. I remember japan crisis sembmar swing to $5.30... And many directors bot in at that price level. Think back that price level, I missed the boat due to other commitment... Beside new contracts, it will be the first quarter earning announcement. Dbs vickers say that sembmar earning will be better than keppel corp. Let's see how liao... Olso to watch, Japan and korea Business war fare. Think, Some projects will go to korea and most likely beneficial will be sembmar for LNG/LPG vessel thingy. Japan has not recovered its max production prior to the " crisis" . It's about credit suisse comments about some news contracts thingy from.... Hmmm korea... I think it will be of container vessels..... If you have credit suisse update, kindly post it here... Appreciated...

Sembmar friday candle don't look so good, Do trade with extra care. Also watch out for other opportunity as well... Unless Sembmar can announce some contracts for final week of the month April 2011. Seems a correction is on the way. Do watch $5.74/6 support for any possible buy.... my view  |

The relationship is to speculate any news event out break... it's simple
Hang Seng track Uk opening. If says ang mio there got news outbreak about mid east... Then hang seng will be shorted, thus spread quickly to ST index. And USA market pre-opening track india for clue... Usually, europe can be ignored one, unless the ang mio (the american) willingly wake up few hours earlier to bet on USA vs europe ($) thingy. last week, US dollar turns weak and show to us that the ang mio/mios are escaping the forext market and bet on equity market. When the US market closed during the day, the dilute will spread onto nikkei market, either up/down. Usually, the real event will start when hang seng start their market. So, not too worry, trading ST index you still can enjoy a few hours of late sleep.
It's been long time that singapore market trace hong kong market for clue. Some ppl will pay for live hang seng future index... Sembmar somehow link with hong kong base retail players... like genting singapore, ezra, noble etc... For this upcoming election, ST index will not be as speculative like other countries. In fact, we can expect nothing about Lee HL PAP RALLY on 7th May 2011. See the 30 component stocks, not many is singapore base type...

Sembmar is less on oil price movement, not like keppel corp. But Sembmar is sensitive to global news, do track hang seng for some clue... I think the nearest support for sembmar would be $5.76/4 during XD. See, many directors bot in recently shall provide some price support. my $5.56 tgt is on global scariest news, ppl anyhow throw, i will grab those slip. Watch keppel corp XD, becos 1-10 split will somehow adjust the market price. Let's see the market movement on monday liao. |

same thought here! i guess oil price can only goes up in long run as oil is becoming more and more precious as it get less and less. even advanced countries trying to switch to renewable energy, but China still need lot lot of it to build his nation. cheers!

keppel Corp : XD = 26 April 2011, Date paid/payable = 10 May 2011 Sembcorp Marine = 26 April 2011, Date paid/payable = 11 May 2011 For those income above $100K per annum, do calculate the taxable recievable for Singapore PAP... Sometimes, income tax is peanut... think $$ generate from equity market

Monday, sembmar will retest $6.00 resistance. Then tuesday, correct for the XD (31 cents). Keppel corp may break $13.xx, so to relate the two rig builder, sembcorp marine should be $6.xx soon. my view on world top two rig builder. Trade happily and confidently everyday.

I believe most ppl will sell their position on XD. If EQ1 report good result. Those ppl will cover back again. Soon QE2 is coming to an end (june) and OPEC has been schedule in june too. Ignore saudi arabia comments about oil cut. their oil is of 2nd class and sold to the world as first class same as other mid east countries. The opec will still has to meet to discuss the future oil price suitable for the health of the global economy.

last friday price action actually show some slow down in the momentum. it could be a shooting star. if it trade below 5.94 on monday, a pull back may happen and 5.70 may be the support level. BTW, when is the dividend date??

what cooking might be this conclude: 1) Beat expectation earning for first quarter 2011. (Director strong bull buying) 2) Expecting a brand new yard in operation soon. 3) Prepare to announce some contracts becos existing contracts can still be stretched due to the availabilty of yard space. 4) Directors tried to reduce payout to public share holders, so they can save some good money for other investment/business oppoertunites. 5) Summer liao, idle rigs to be busy in oil drilling and can expect some regular conversion work... 6) NATO continue air firing, which means USA needs more oil reserve for millitary usage... 7) Up coming election on 7th May 2011. EQ1 on 9th may 2011
