Aiya. Not affected at all lah. Ausgroup buy the local company and the land belong to local company. Where got property tax charge. So long as property price go higher, land price will go higher and it will have asset gain. A pulau ubin big area only cost 210,000,000.
But the RTO progress really very slow leh

Have you been Pulau Ubin? Pulau Ubin is 10.19km2. The total land that Ausgroup want to purchase is 10.62 leh. Bigger than pulau ubin but cost only $210,000,000. |

The purchase consideration payable for the Sale Shares is S$182,868,000 (the “Purchase Consideration”) and on the basis that the Remaining Shares SPA is entered into, the purchase consideration payable by the Company for the Remaining Sale Shares is expected to be S$27,132,000 (the “Remaining Shares Purchase Consideration”). The Purchase Consideration and Remaining Shares Purchase Consideration shall be satisfied in full by the issue of new Shares (as defined below) in the capital of the Company to the respective vendors, as further described below. The Target Holding Companies and the Target Group Subsidiaries (the “Target Group Companies” or the “Target Group”) currently, between themselves in aggregate, own approximately 1,015 acres of freehold land located in Sedenak, Johor, Malaysia. Pursuant to the Target Group Restructuring, the Target Group is to acquire an additional approximately 47 acres of freehold land located in Sedenak, Johor, Malaysia, with the result that the Target Group shall be the registered and beneficial owner of an aggregate of approximately 1,062 acres of freehold land located in Sedenak, Johor, Malaysia (the “Target Group Lands”). The Target Group Lands are located in Iskandar Malaysia.
