EDMI and parent SMB: What's the potential?

eh, colorado, there's never such a thing as a good price to buy. ya just gotta decide for yourself what's good. haha. can consider engkong too (go look at the thread). same story as edmi. both cornered stocks and solid fundamentals; BBs keeping quiet on it, altho held by multiple brokerage houses (they always like to keep good things for themselves eh). note edmi has rode two waves up already, so if you join nw, it's for the final upswing. still likely to be good tho. if you catch ek tho, you can get the chance to ride 3 full waves. whee. hehe. price target: i do not honestly believe you can get it below 45c. i don't know the no: of lots you want, so do monitor the bu/sd data day to day, and decide on a good entry price for yourself? note that edmi does not do fibo retracement, so don't expect to get it at like, 40c or something. Unless something really big shakes the entire market, it's too solidly supported by FA, institutions and too cornered for that. caveat emptor yea. but at least ya know that victorian and i will be rabidly monitoring these stocks since we're vested, so you'll always have TA/FA updates. haha. pls note the above is not an inducement to buy. make up your own mind yea. |

Hi Elfinchilde, zujzuj, what's a good price to buy in? I have missed countless opportunities already so don't want to miss this one. Since it has potential to be a multi-bagger, I don't mind to sit on it while I'm away next week - better late than never.... |

Great, seems like great mind thinks alike, lots of expert-cum-supporter for this counter. Yap, BB is missing from the picture for the last couple of days .... letting the price slide, and gradually accumulate more at lower price. Bang, it shot back up!!! Well, if the price is right, might accumulate more for my portfolio for long term gain. Cheers.

yeps zujzuj, keep both for long term. i don't hold smb so not in position to comment, but i hold both edmi and ek. and certainly not intending to sell them in near term. fyi for ek: it is only on its first wave. so just sit in and play all three up waves fully. could do some buying/selling of non-core positions at each consolidation pt, but if not sure/no time to monitor, can just sit in and ride it out. assuming trend remains same of course: but less to worry on these two cf to other stocks on market tho. they're solidly supported by FA, so even if drop, will not be to that much. BBs no reason to unload yet. note how the 3 drops thus far this year, EDMI only went down to 30c (fr its high of 35.5c then); and that was before their results announcement. it's currently trading at abt PE of 2.3x. That's very low relative to the STI. but eh, must check in at least once a day lah. cornered stocks are like bipolar disorder. they'll sit there, stagnate and mope around for days. but when they take it into their heads to turn manically happy, it's speedy gonzales man. hehe. |

hey zujzuj and other edmi-ers, no worries on this stock la. don't havta second guess it. it's cornered, so any buy/sell will move the stock price by quite a lot. all retail sells on this counter past few days only. nothing to worry abt; BBs no movement at all, so just follow. edmi is a low beta stock, ie, it doesn't follow the STI. like EK, they're cornered and tight float, plus management story. so from psychological perspective of the BBs: the more the STI/market chiongs, the more they'll not move/depress EK and EDMI. so that retailers will get frus (market moving how come my counter never move?!) and sell it. plays right into their hands. same advice. just sit quiet as mousies. patience required with this baby. plus, the consolidation pt is ard 48c, thus far, trend has not changed; techs still hold true. |

EDMI, SMB and Engkong...all down (on low volumes) despite STI cheonging to new high..... Looks like shaking out of contra players...all about T+5 from recent cheonging These quiet counters don't go hand in hand with STI, so they kinda of provide a hedge against overall market. Agree ? |

I fully agreed with winsontkl. BB is playing on the ground and due to the small volume in the market. It is easy to dive and float or even fly... Think again...Is it trying to break the ceiling???

Rollercoaster ride today. Starting off with strong buying in the morning hitting a high of 51 cents, then it slowly slide back to a low of 46.5 cents and last minute push back to 49 cents. BB playing around? Probably trying to shake out weak holders as this counter has been quiet the last few days. EDMI has powered up substantially, hence, it provide good profit margins and has a tendency to make people let go. BB win. Always remeber a good company is hard to come by, probably, will never see this level again .... up or down???? anybody guess.

Fundamental for this stock has not changed, hence, always remember, we are buying a potential company for future growth which should not be dictated purely by the price and be swayed by individual emotion. Just let EDMI ride its due course.... Up up and away.

Hi vic, I agreed with bunbun, that everyone should have the chance of having abalone, shark fin and even the best dish during the profitable days. But bear in mind if the bear set in we should also could enjoy the feast... As for today, consolidation has set in... bear is around the corner... bull will be resting pretty soon if BB has kept their cards....
Vic, hopefully we could enjoyed the fruits before it rots....

Hi vic, I agree with you.. I din expect miracle over night, but miracle is always happening around us, I have miss quite a fair bit. But I am quite sure that it will not slip off this time... Hope that you will still maintain your focus and not eating too much sweet potatoes and becomes fatter and slow down your thoughts... Take care... Be mindful of what is happening too....

Hi Vic, Seems like you are rather bullish on EDMI. Must still be accumulating for the uptrend with a TP $1 -1.50. Believe the consolidation phase will be shorter now its fundamental has been recognised by BB.

hey all, tech update for edmi (and yep, still vested): tech target of 52c i called earlier this year being breached. (cf UOBKH's fair value target of 53c). A retracement is in the works, however, given EDMI's past tech data, i do not expect the retracement to be serious. likely just a touch and go, if even that (~48c). Thereaft, the upswing possible is to 72c. not so soon tho. give it some time to rest first. slow and steady. that's why i like this baby. keke. |
