I'm guessing sembmarine's earnings should be bad. The chart appears similar to Wilmar's late last year when it (F34) gapped down from $6 support with news of its property investment in China. Just not sure if there'll be dividend payout by sembcorp marine & how much to make investors help keep its share price afloat?

If the market is going to drop like sheet, there's no such thing as " support" ... it is only in people's imagination. Anyway, it has already fallen below your " support" latest low is 1.28...

Is it?? I thought that was in 2006 time? Sembcorp sold it away at about $2?? Does Sembcorp still hold some share of cosco??

agreed.. in fact if cosco cant close above 1.53, i think we might see further selling down.. btw master gaecia, i dont have charting tools here.. is S& P's 200 ma support being breached ?

Got to remember last year will be a high base year for most companies to beat earnings. Personally i'm more inclined towards a rally near to national day so i'm not shorting at this pullback (i must control myself x3) yet lest this is a trap for short sellers. Many have yet to announce earnings. Dow made a spinning top last night, i'm just guessing that things will look up from here. Actually on gsp & noble just watch the move 2 days prior to announcements will give a gd indiction. Like Cosco, the it started kicking in last Fri aftern late trade there was sudden selldown which i lost out on 1c.
