new year to buy abalone and lobster Post Reply Rate topic

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	No oine will be confident hoping on unless it falls to  maybe 1 or 2 cents can bet..... so many millions of abalone died at one go - anyone can tell if its due to deseases or contaminated water around its farm. It could wipe off everything overnight. But then I undertand  the abalone are fed in tanks so how  so many million died at one go ? Sabatage by ex exployee not happy after told to go ? whats the actual reason - just died for no reason or reason or reasons unknown ? If thats the case it woild be worst as anything the same death could strike - maybe this time 100% casualty - goned. Abalone take years to become big size adult and can sell -  can die within minutes.  So the risk is actually p[retty high.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Most counters are alike.  So many out there.  But sometimes when you want to sell, nobody want to eat your queue.  Sg market not much players who are willing to make the market, or make it alive.  If you look at oversea exchanges, the screen can  never ever be stationary like  the screeen at SGX.  People seldom take risks?  Or whenever they take a risk, they kenna eaten up?  Why are the sharks so bad?

Food business on the whole is a risky business because although it is a noble cause business, it faces trmendous challenges.  Look at SunMoon, suffering after so many years, nearly I should say, a decade.  A change of fortune is changing place in Sunmoon, as I see it, with new management trying their best as seen from the previous couple of quarters good  profitability and small losses in between.  So it is never say die for food stuff supplies  (not restaurants). Prices in the stock market esp. in Sg, is rarely a reflection of a company's standing, though.  Look at PSC corp, with over 50 cents in NTA is currently quoted in SGX at around 19 cents. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	I think we need to know that the SG market is a shortists' market, with many big guns and filty rich using their money deposits to short every counter you can name, except the best of best blue chip.  So price falling will stop only when the shortists have made tons of money but  before they stop shorting the counter price keep falling  will continue to  drag and drag  for a considerable time before it could recover.  Analysts won't tell you all these, maybe they will say that it is rubbish talking, but the truth is out there only  if you care to do a little  research on  your trades. Thus trade small and you will  be on safe side. Newbies should take heed.  Oldies would know somehow.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	This one relally conned by the Anal ysis.  Say it got super potential.......holding  few hundered millions worth of baby abalones..diverting to sea cucumber.... expanding.........open  restaurants selling abalone dishes......Ah Yat.....etc etc.. In the end.......many bought in at high  believening this abalone will  have good future......... Miserery to holders...many might have cutat big lost  and  lot are holding and hoping but hope against hope keep falling....... soime might be holding still at  high price of 48 cents or above when  the initial listing  in Taiwan cause a sensation.but all went wrong and wrong........... Now it looks hopeless... but not sure ..since it has already fallen so much... at this price...or slightly lower might be a good entry point for  PPLK whom never bought this stock. But really have to read and study all its reports, its debt,  its plans.........  ultimately, potential and debts and future plans for the company is  important.. and  this one  may look like good entry point,  its not for short term... But then a gain -  though can go in a low price, having to wait long make it riskier...who knows the company might decide to Call it a day after unstainable  looses then gone case. Low might also not be good. Need to find out reason why,  ppl are not keen. There might be really  reason that make holders dump.
