x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Let's see at what price are they gng to issue the TDRs, if the issued price is much higher, then NAV will go up but of coz with more shares, the EPS will come down. Another benefit is that we all hope by listing in Taiwan will really help to expand its exposure and to garner more interest in this stock... I feel the current price really do not show justification but the reason I suspect is due to poor/zero coverage by research hse, it is afterall a S-Chip and also lack of real investors, current buyers are speculators hoping for ST price movements rather than buying and having LT view.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	IN A bid to raise funds and gain exposure to a new market, Changtian Plastic & Chemical has proposed to issue up to 132 million new shares in the form of Taiwan depository receipts (TDRs). These TDRs will be offered to the public in Taiwan by way of public offer and placement. The group expects to raise gross proceeds of 300 million yuan (S$61.2 million) from the TDR programme to fund expansion of production capacity. The issue price will be fixed at no more than a 20 per cent discount to the weighted average price per share for the full market day up to the time the underwriting agreement was signed. - Business Times Weekend can expert advise whether is this a good exercise and how it affect the current share price in time to come? only know that it's an undervalue counter.
