I dont think so.The 10c dividend is confirmed hence it is posted and announced on the SGX website.It is only a formality that they have to approval in the AGM.

if im not wrong, the dividend is still subject to approval until the AGM in late april right? think maybe ppl are not sure if baker will surely approve and bake high dividend for them.. maybe if nearer date to AGM, will return to life, or maybe during the confirmation of dividend, the price may shoot up..

The impact from dividend is small probably because it is already price in when YZJ complete the purchase of their offshore unit to venture into rig business.

I think it might actually drop close to $0.10 when XD, given the company is very small and earning is really thin at 1 cent per share. My conservative view is 40x P/E post XD is probably not worth the risk.

Hi

If 10c dividend is approved in coming AGM on 25 April , payout on 23 May, I think,

then the 22% return in less than 3 months -if annualised, gives an effective return > 80%pa.

Since the PE ratio for BTL is also low, even after-XD, it will not automatically drop by 10 c , just

like currently when news of 10c div -it did not translate automatically to (last done ,42.5c + 10c )or 52.5 c.

The highest was 48.5 and slowly the weak holders, possibly include contra-players, are not able

to hold and thus the price drops resulting in potential loss of dividend gains.

Where else can one find such a potential high dividend paying stock and in terms of KPI(key performance index) I think the BTL Management deserves more than a resounding applause and the special dividends ?

this one pay out almost all of exceptional gain 10c per share 22% return on 45c per share. cannot run?

the gain was from a $3.6m investment in 2007 and sold for usd 116.25m in 2010. a return that not many investment guru can boost of.

is the management considered an alchemist?

can they do more wonder with their future investment?

still wondering to buy or not buy?

So for suggested profit target just add 10 cent lah...42.5 +10 =52.5 c usual case for this type of stock...quick & simple, don't wait till it xd price might drop more than 10 cents ....wasted, Baker Tech I try not to hold long long....Sembawang not happy to see it becomes good ...I think only.
