Now the question is whether the Buying and Selling activities by both the Speculators and Investors are sustainable; without which the upward trend (or downward trend) could be difficult to determine. Cheers! |

Hi all, Stay calm. It will be sweet sweet soon. My exit target price is $1. More momentum coming in next half year. Just be patience. When the invisible want it to go up, it will not come down. |

Hi hohokit Pse be a little more patient. 80cts is below the IPO price. Sell at least above the IPO price to reward yourself for having waited for some time for LMA's recovery.. Hi moneymatters Hope LMA will move north like a supersonic jet to make up for lost time (listed in 2005). All the shares that were listed on SGX in 2007 are at least above IPO price. Not LMA - still well below IPO price. Shocking, it is a fact. |

I think due patience will be well rewarded hikitty. Suspect that some goody may be in the bag as the directors have withdrawn the sharebuyback. It means they may have some stronger initiative that will drive the prices up eventually. |

Hi chinkiasu Was drawn by its strong fundamentals to invest in LMA. But, the sorry state of the counter makes me wonder whether strong fundamentals can be very misleading. Junk stocks, without strong fundamentals, often head north. Hope the "weak" operators are given a thrashing by strong operators (they just have to buy up the few shares that the weak operators have) Without doubt LMA is a good stock - the iron-clad guarantee is that it will not be wound up, unlike smaller firms. |

If I am not wrong, LMA is being played down by one or two "weak" operators themselves - just the left hand passing to the right hand. A fundamentally (profitable than most penny stocks which have moved north) strong share just waiting for stronger operators (by rotation) to push out the weak ones and send them scurrying for cover. The sudden price surge is to make up "lost" time - it has downtrending since being listed in 2005. Compared to a penny stock, China Great Land listed at about the same time and has recovered to its IPO price of 21 cents, LMA is still "bleeding". |

Hi Novocaine, This counter has low volumes. Please note that my TA comments may be inaccurate. The Bollinger bands are really tight now indicating that a sudden price change may occur. Trend-wise, its pretty hard to tell... but if I would guess, I'd say its not too good. |

I seem to see a head and shoulder formation in the TA with the neck at the current price.. Bullish TA? Any TA experts care to comment? Singaporegal your comments are greatly appreciated too! Thanks in advance! |

Yes, I quite agree with You Novocaine. The very fact that they have withdrawn the share buyback mandate means they have some strong strategic initiatives in the pipeline that is more effective than the former. We should patiently wait for the release of this good news then. |

Wat i can think of is probably they are planning to give out dividends which are more visible to enhance the shares..rather than buyback which can increase price earnings ratio but most probably mgt is confident of delivering upcoming results and therefore wants to reward shareholders in a more direct way.. Or yes they might be planning an acquisition..whatever it is they probably know smthing we dont and it should be good enough for them to confidently withdraw the share resolution..n take note its withdrawn n NOT voted against.. Company is cash flush anyway and also do take note that AGM draft and resution withdrawal time period is roughly only 1 or at most 2 mths..maybe some new good developments in that recent window? Mebe mgt sense upcoming results gd? If it is to be released this 9th May and end period for Q1 is 31st march then they shld have an inkling of results by now..just that they cant divulge until official date.. And the time window also correspond to end Q1 period to roughly one or two days ago.. I am just thinking out loud what the reasons may be..but in my own honest opinion it should be good for mgt to withdraw the share buy back.. They probably have a good reason to do that..And they do have a strong set of leaders.. Just my two pence thoughts.. :) |

hi guys, u may want to take a look at report from Vicplas....looks like sales may not be that rosy this Q...but they are extremely upbeat about the supreme's sales... http://info.sgx.com/webcorannc.nsf/560dd4b031b97d27482571b20043d38c/41209ee846dbcea848257299003c08a7?OpenDocument |

Thanks Jackjames for the info. Yes, the figures doesn't seem to paint such a wonderful prosepct but hopefully the gross profit for 1Q2007 is better than 2006. The withdrawal of the share purchase mandate is indeed bewildering because its a stimulant for the shares and attract investors. Well, the other most optimistic reason i just thought of for the withdrawal of resolutions 9 & 11 is that an acquisition is in the pipeline? That would indeed be a booster for the price. Keeping fingers crossed..... |
