AK q 6.41 since lunch time. got it around show time. but yesterday got it at 6.76 ah. morning got it at 6.55. Will get some more 2 morrow, if price fine. pse note that DMG TP this burger at 5.20. believe or not??? nowadays, dun listen to all these burgers loh. your brain is still smarter. |

Yesterday from high dropped 30¢, and another 30¢ drop today. That's more than 10% in 2 days. I think I will try my luck again...BUY 6.43...see got dead cat rebound or not...hehehe!!! Cheers! | ||

It would be a step back if they follow the US,UK and Aussie markets. Liquidity and volumes will certainly be adversely affected. Thot shorting is part of the check and balance of any dynamic markets. It will set a dangerous precedence if they do it.

With a total ban of shorting, I'm sure it will not be a problem cause, vol will decrease tremendously, that's why SGX merely regulate it not dare to banit. | ||

There was no external bad news and SGX dropping fast from 6.54 all the way to 6.43 in 10 minutes this morning. Spotted the unusual trading pattern, thought maybe the BB is playing tricks on retail investors and I started my buying while it dropped. 6.48, 6.46 & 6.44 and true enuf, it rebounded immediately after lunch....swee, swee I sold off at 6.53, enuf for today liao. Cheers! | ||

SGX is considering stopping short selling. I see this as a double edged thing. The advantage is that it will lower market volatility and discourage speculators from pushing share prices down. Long term investors can then bottom fish. Stability will return to the market after some time. The disadvantage is that the trading volumes will suffer (and in turn, SGX's revenues) in the short term because fear still reigns supreme. Few will be willing to take long positions in a near-recession. |

yah wanted to go in this burger again. Initially I b this burger was for its coming div. But its div came earlier and more, so AK dumped them n took the div in advance. ha ha could hv waited a bit later Now focuses on SIA, hv few holding n few just bought yesterday n ds morning. This burger kena left right since morning. Dun believe it dun go up above 15.00 again. OK, return to the game machine. |
