 Alert Admin 		i would say that the volume is too low to make out anything for today,and the liquidity of a counter make the chart ineffective. jmo.

 Alert Admin 		If not the DJ took a rebound recently , our market is still sideway , n the counters are all  remain at corrective phase . Mermaid made a new high last month at 71.5 cents , after the top formation , the share price started to fall inside the Bollinger band n went all the way down to touch  the lower band at 51 cents which filled a gap there . Recently it made a technical rebound to 59 cents which is the Fibonacci 38.2 % zone . The trend is not sustainable due to the low volume , n return to the bottom or down touching the lower Bollinger band is possible .

From the Chart, we can see the short term EMA falling faster, thus crossing the long term EMA n moving below it (f.y.i i'm using 12 day EMA & 26 day EMA to see).

It represent a reverse in fortune n like what u mentioned a possible downtrend.

Besides the Mermaid MACD signal is weak as well.

Lastly the rebounce yesterday is not strong as well like what u say............

I thk currently don't buy first, wait for better signal..Smiley

Yup........ but oil price been down for a while, not sure if it has stablised.............

Actually tonight Dow outcome also play a part. The possibility for a bull, i will put it as only 40% possibility.

Btw China Sport fortune depends alot on Dow tonight too. If Dow fall badly, Smileyomg.

Hi Bintang, i interpreted it as Mermaid formed a Inverted Hammer Pattern today. It maybe a bullish sign depending on next day trading day outcome..

Bullish sign can be confirmed in the form of the next day opening is above the inverted hammer’s real body.

The larger the gap the stronger the confirmation will be. A white candlestick with higher prices can also be another form of confirmation.

(Emm as usual is a discussion, if wrong feel free to point out Smiley)
