Parkway Holdings: Fortis Healthcare to acquire 23.9% stake in Parkway Summary: India’s fastest growing healthcare company, Fortis Healthcare Ltd, yesterday announced the acquisition of a 23.9% strategic stake in Parkway Holdings from TPG Capital for an estimated US$685.3m or S$3.56 per share. According to Fortis, the acquisition will enable it to expand its footprint and place it strategically for geographical and clinical leadership in Asia. ******** wOuld fOrtis nEEd mOre CLiNiCS frOm HealthWay Medical ? ******** We see this as a strong indicator of confidence in Parkway’s growth potential. Excellent.....very seasoned investor/trader that you are....... I have to say that I was blinded by how much potential the India healthcare market is..... My earlier FA on HW was incomplete.........
