Hopefully this is the bottom. Yesterday it did touch 1.24, and then bounced to 1.255. This is a good but exciting play at this point in time.

Management trying to take this counter private. By pushing down the price as close to 1.22 as possible, it makes sense for everyone to sell at that price so counter can go private already. If the counter still can't convert at least 90% of shares, it will fail in their plan. Its like a spring, if you compress the spring too long, the tension will push price up once over deadline.

THE mandatory unconditional offer for Singapore-listed offshore vessels builder STX OSV will close on March 13 at 5.30pm. Offeror Fincantieri Oil & Gas said in its offer document dispatched on Wednesday that it does not intend to extend the offer past the deadline. Unlike y will succeed to garner at $1.22 from minoritry sharesholders...by Feb 28 with dividends announcement I think shares will go up again,,on Jan 15 OZ Mgt sold about 34.9 mil of STXOSV shares,,,even if U count this in still not cross 90% so stxosv will remain listed just like F& N..shares dropped becoz pple fear OZ Mgt's sales may help the italian co...but the sale to who was not disclosed..  time to buy

OZ Management Fund sold on Jan 15, 30mil and 4.924mil of STXOSV shares to push its shares down..but ok when offer lapse by Mar 15..will soar ok..unlikley Italian co can get> 90% at $1.22..worth the risk to buy at current $1.24 | ||||
