nah. am quite a homebody. dun think i'd feel useless at home.... but dun intend to be full time trader anyway. see how it goes lah. all i know is, i def need a break right now. the dang civil service has taken the civility right outta me. >~< i need someplace where imagination is important....sigh. |

I am not sure how the rest feel but too me everyday life is more meaningful when there is interaction with people. Of course don't stay in a place where you are unhappy. It's really lonely staying at home to trade. Well up to each individual. |

Idesa168... :) I don't understand why must trading be boring at all?... Once you have placed your trades, and especially when your profits are running after entering a really good setup, you can go shopping and browse your fav stuff, chat with close ones, read the inexhaustible books... etc...etc.. ...

Oh Elf, sorry to hear that you had quit from your day job. Dun ever think of becoming a day trader fulltime. I did that once for 3 mths surviving on small winning everyday. I would say I was quite successful though, quite constantly making a hundred or two a day. There are times I loss but overall still make. The problem is I felt I am so so so useless at home. No politic though, but just feel useless. Get a full-time job and trade part-time is nice. Trust me! |

hi singaporegal, yea, my trouble's precisely what you said: that i tried to make changes when the rest are contented with status quo. thanks very much for your advice, livermore. it is much consolation and comfort. :) i hope your portfolio's doing well yea. i know our styles of trading are v different; but i must say, yours does work for you, so just stick with it and never mind the rest! :) and yea well, they can bring me down all they want; doesn't quite matter anymore. it'd just be character smearing, which in the end doesn't look good on them. as long as the top mgmt knows, that's good enough for me. the pity always is that top mgmt is intelligent, but middle mgmt can't quite cope. no one bullies an elf. and sigh. manikamaniho, may i just repeat, really, the stock market is the LEAST of my problems. ok, gotta be good and do some wk. cya guys! :) thanks for being friends. :) |

The french trader has finally admitted his crime and i believe what he say. there is no way the mgmt couldnt detect hos activities... he is put all the blame. Nevertheless he is hook on winnings.. he actually made 1 billions euro at one time before he has to create some big bets against his trades to coverup his winning. and lost. if he hasnt the need to cover up, he would have made even more. http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/080129/france_societe_generale.html |

Forget abt the crap book genie. go get free TA edu at www,stockcharts.com school Trade Secrets Videos is one of the better systems i would recommend as i have it. In it, u will learn 4 simple trading setups and rules. which i workable in almost all trading instrument. etc Forex, Stocks and Commodities. What is also impressive is that the writer share more than 20 years of PRACTICAL trading experience in 19 short MP3 lessons which will shorten your learning curve and ensure u avoid the major pitfalls of trading. Those who get it, i would suggest u start with the MP3 1st before going to the vids. (speaking from my own personal experience. ) |
