But by next year, it may also               drop lower, in which case one will be 'forced' to hold longer.                       But time is money, whether one week,one year, or longer.                             Thus, regardless of time-frame, it is still betting on the outcome...

But the fact is many would have been wiped out in the process.                         Only those who are already well-off, and do not need money, can survive a prolonged downtrend...
