Sino Grandness: Odds Are Still Good Initiate With BUY, TP $1.60 Initiate coverage with BUY target price SGD1.60 implying 64% upside potential on this under-researched name. Sino Grandness is a stock with a very special catalyst, the listing of beverage subsidiary Garden Fresh. It is a potential multi-bagger given the huge valuation mismatch between its current single-digit PER and peers in Hong Kong that trade at 20-30x. Apart from the Garden Fresh spinoff catalyst, we believe Sino Grandness is also a very good company at the operational level. It has seen profit growth of 63% p.a. since its IPO, mainly driven by its three-year old juice business. However, it is still in the early stages of a multi-year growth cycle and we believe the best is yet to come. The biggest risk is the failure to list Garden Fresh by 2014. Garden Fresh issued two tranches of convertible bonds in 2011 and 2012. CB holders can redeem the CB at substantial premiums if the Garden Fresh IPO doesn’t go through. sino grandness moved according to plan of 21 mar like clockwork , soared to hit 1.03 ( actually 1.025) then crashed ( now 96) , expecting a small reaction up , then maybe plunge to 92.5 for more details , see my sino grandness chart( click here) tq
