Trading Halt is probably due the following reply made to SGX query on high trading at the end of January. " However, the Company had on 4 January 2012 informed shareholders that it is currently pursuing its right under a first right of refusal deed to acquire land development rights in relation to an area in Myanmar, known as Star City. The parties are still in the process of negotiating the terms of the acquisition. The Company will make an announcement as and when it is appropriate in accordance with the rules of the Listing Manual. Further, the Company also wishes to refer to its announcement on 17 November 2011 regarding the proposed restructuring of the Company’s interest in the Grand Central project in Dalian, the People’s Republic of China. The Company had on 26 January 2012 received in-principle approval of the draft Circular from the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited, subject to certain terms and conditions. The Company is in the process of finalising the draft Circular and targets to despatch the Circular to shareholders in early February 2012.
