Guys/Gals...by any chance you know/have prospectus for 2007 Right Issue? Did the coy do well years on after the Rights? Any comments on their way of management? I saw on other coy post states that some mgt are not transparent with their investors. Is the coy's website www.asiatic.com.sg? Their news and events last shown is in May 2011 and since than without any updates. Is this what a progressing coy does? Suspect I'm investing into a coy where there's very tight resources to even handle their own coy website which is their Front and Image of the coy. |

there are upcoming Rights and Warrants issue. I think it is attractive. Many times when it's closer to the Rights Issue, px would drop. Px might drop further after issue as ppl may dump their new shares. But I do see some stocks where when it's closer to Rights Issue, px went up and up even higher after the issuance. We'll never know the outcome but we do know what Asiatic intend is... issuing Rights. Till now, we know that they want to beef up their capital and for 90% of the Rights goes into their Energy business. I suppose, Energy is the main driving force behind Asiatic survival where the rest of the business is seen to have lesser profit margin (take a look at their May Fin report). They are on track and I hope it will materialise and the coy soar greater and higher. They have business in Sin, Chn, Viet, Cambodia, thai and M'sia but employ around 100 ppl (can't imagine how small the biz was). Part of the Rights might go into manpower for their energy business among others. So the possibility of soaring high will not be anytime soon. I've bought it at high of 12.6 and 12.0. I'll hold and probably 6 mths.

I extract the following paragraph under valuation of Warrants: Based sorely on the Exercise price of $0.0175 and the theoretical ex-rights price of S$0.0575 (based on the last transacted price of the shares of $0.08 preceding the Annoucnement), the warrants would be in-the-money and would have an intrinsic value of $0.04. However, given the Warrants are execisable over a 2-year period commencing on and including the date of issue of warrants, there is time value to the warrants in addition to the aforesaid intrinsic value....... |

Jan 2010 was a global depression where US was in bad shape due to Financial scandals and bankruptcy (all the banks require capitalisation )
Now is a recovering US economy. The first Asiatic rights issue resulted in high of 68 cts during cum rights. Go for long term no need to worry. |

In Jan 2010 also got rumour lah , that time Asiatic got fried up till 18 cents.... I was con to buy at high price later fake one, price come down to original.... I am very loyal hold until now... three years already.... | ||||
