T/A : Rising price and healthy volumes as shown by A/D and Chaikin indicators for past couple of days. F/A: Co deals in construction engineering and maintenance services for oil and gas industry. One of its major clients is Shell Petroleum. I'm vested at 1.77. |

hmm 0.91 is the top of the current band.. not a good price to exit. coz if rotary move abv 0.91, it may even go much higher. else it will slide before it even rch 0.91.. even after the rights, i strongly believe rotary is a good counter to brk abv peeny stocks status.. |

OCBC has published this morning a very positive outlook with a target price of 91 cents. This probably explains the high volume and increase in share price. |

myhope, You are welcome. Whizzer, I am not party to the decision process of the directors. But, if I was to make the decision how to allocate the shares, and if the objective is to please as many shareholders as possible with the limited excess stocks, I will just give prioritise starting with those who applied the least excess. Don't think they will go thru the trouble of analysing who needs only 200 shares but they have applied for 2200 lots. Just my opinion. |

Hi shplayer, tks for the advice, it rings me another 2 questions though... 1) suppose things go the way u say, and i do apply for the 2200 excess does it mean i will still get the 200 excess or i might not get anything at all for being greedy. 2) how do i know how much excess are there in the market. |

Hi whizzer, For this rights, I think it will be well received. However, there are bound to be some who did not respond for various reasons such as ignorance, out of town, too busy etc. So, there will be some for excess. In my experience, when you apply for excess, you will have better chance if you apply just enough for what you need to make up a full lot. e.g. if you need 200 excess, apply for just that. Don't apply for 2200 excess. The reason being, if the directors have few shares to allocate excess, they will probably allocate to the 'smaller' applicants in order to fully satisfy more shareholders. |

I dont think anyone will want to forego subscribing for their rights. We are lucky if we can get the excess of odd lots to make up for one full lot. However, no harm trying if you have the extra funds..... |

Hi Shplayer, regarding the excess shares, if we opt to buy, will it be at market price or the price of 20c ? is there a limit to the amount of excess shares we can buy? Tks for advice. |

myhope, Yes, you can apply for excess shares with cash. If you plan to use your bonus div for the rights, then you need to buy a cashier order for the excess and submit the ARE (Applicaton for Rights and Excess) by mail. If you do it thru ATM, then you need to use cash for both the rights and excess. With ATM, you do not have the option of using your divident to pay for the rights. Your net divident will be paid to you at a later date...think its 28 Jan?. |

Hi, need further clarification. If I have 2000 shares and entitled to the bonus dividend of $160 (net), after utilising the bonus dividend to convert to 800 Rights Shares, can I still apply for 200 excess shares to make up 1 lot using cash? Thanks. |

rickytan, Excess rights allocation is at the discretion of the directors. From my experience, if the rights is not too popular, you will have a better chance to get a fair amount or all applied for. If rights are very heavily subscribed, usually they will give priority to those with odd lots to make full lots. Say you have 2 lots and your rights is 800 shares. If you apply for 200 excess shares, you may have a good possibility of getting it...subject to availability. |
