Dow zone now very green. But not sure that will help THbev. Emm previous....notice that when Dow very green....the impact seems more towards STI index chip instead..ha Anyway let c how things move. Cheer |

set a cut lost situation. For my case normally i will set 20% cut off if the stock i tracked keep on falling. Bought at 0.43 is still not ex. Recent news on china , korea , singapore economy play a part him dragging THbev down. I'm holding on mind. As I'm still in positive territory even though THbev kept dropping. I purchase even earlier... |

Current situation is plagued by technical downturn. And that is based on chart analysis. But seeing the recent news, market sentiment play an important part as well. From current situation , it may correct some more b4 any progress upwards. THbev slow in punching into the deal caused the back track also....PPl are viewing that THbev & TCC pump big money to purchase F& N. If that happen, it will drag them down financially... Unless, there is sleeping giant (with great financial ability) supporting them behind. The thai slowest in getting the deal & announcing of possible path forward to consume whole of F& N is making ppl to start profiting first..... Interesting, anyway c how things goes. Believe this kuku situation will last til next week.... Now thbev will trade sideway.... Thus profit first if have..... Timing not right now to see any big progress of THbev, based on current situation..

Singapore-listed Thai Beverage has emerged as the best performer among 14 companies in the city-state's consumer staples sector, data from Thomson Reuters StarMine showed. The data covers firms tracked by at least three analsyts. The beverage company has the highest-possible Analyst Revision score of 100 and analysts have raised EPS estimates for the year ending 2012 by 2.9 percent over the past month. A high score of 85 in the SmartHoldings model suggests potential increase in institutional ownership and a similar score in Earnings Quality Model suggests strong earnings sustainability. Thai Beverage is up nearly 23 percent over the past month, while the sector index is down marginally in the same period, as of Friday's close. |

Looking at the the current situation, BBs are in. blocking prices between .395 - .40.... Still the volume today looks encouraging... 50 cents? Keeping my fingers crossed as well. Good luck.

F& N’s Hui Says Cooperation With Kirin, ThaiBev ‘Possible’

Hui Choon Kit, financial controller of Fraser and Neave Ltd. (FNN), comments on the results of the company’s shareholder meeting today. F& N shareholders approved the company’s sale of its 40 percent stake in Asia Pacific Breweries Ltd. (APB) to Heineken NV. (HEIA) They voted against F& N’s plan to distribute S$4 billion ($3.2 billion) to shareholders from the sale to Heineken. Hui spoke at a media briefing in Singapore today. On working with Thai Beverage Pcl (THBEV): “They being in the same business presents both opportunities and challenges. While we could look to work together and synergies, we may in other areas also be competing so we do need to sit down and discuss the way forward with them. ‘‘Clearly there are opportunities. If both sides can combine our resources to look at certain areas and the business model does make sense, then there could be opportunities for us to work together.’’ On Kirin Holdings Co. and ThaiBev being shareholders of F& N: ‘‘It’s possible that we could have a very interesting cooperation between the various parties. Alternatively, there could be a lot of conflicts going on, and then it would prevent us from realizing the potential of the F& N business.’’ On growing its property business: ‘‘We are building new commercial as well as retail space which will be earmarked into future injections into our REITs.’’ ‘‘We will be looking to replenish our stock in Singapore so as to build a very strong business in Singapore, while delivering projects in Australia and China.’’ On a hospitality REIT: ‘‘There have been discussions with the recent launches of hospitality REITs, Ascendas as well as Far East. That’s something that’s on the drawing board, as in we’re considering whether it makes sense for us, but there are no immediate plans.” |

It looks more like PE ratio of 21.32 than price target. If its price target, it means this counter is way deep undervalue.

If you have holding power and playing mid term, hold it. If play short term, consider sell it as it seem some profit taking is going on while market is waiting for confirmation from the use of the money from APB sales.
