Hankore onward march to 8-10cts. Post Reply Rate topic

Together, the three suspended firms, including ISR, Innopac and Ipco have market capitalizations of over 6 billion sgd. But yes, the business times article today did say that fundamental sound companies like hankore, EMS and singhaiyi also were affected by the pennies crash. Those holding don't have to worry because HK is very likely steering towards 10 to 20 cents kind of counter in the short to medium term, and mid cap status in the longer term. Many broking houses will be busy chasing for contra loss or margin top up in the next few weeks. Hankore may exhibit similar strategy with its share price being pumped up from 5c to high of 8c and now proposing to have the approval to more than double its share capital to allow it to issue more shares.. likely for acquisition via share swap since it has already the MTN for raising working capital to support new projects or upgrading jobs. Many wonder why Blumont stayed so high for so long as they need the significantly higher share price to finance its expansion strategy through issuance of shares. Hankore's share price is apparently being supported and likely so in conjunction with seeking approval to issue more shares. Both must be successfully defended or its strategy may be delayed. Watch the development and react wisely.

The selling is overdone..just like in HK's case, people are exiting without thinking, jump out first and lets see is the motto of the day. When I bought Innopac, thought the US hedge fund and Nomura would have done due diligence or they wouldn't have bought so much of Innopac above 12cents. Turns out that institutional investors might be wrong too. Oh and if HK gets an increase in authorized share capital of 15 billion, that will be like giving management a billion dollar war chest to play with, assuming placements are done at 7cents.
