Keppel Integrated Engineering (KIE), a unit of Keppel Corp, sponsor the listing of new business trust K-Green Trust (KGT) on the Singapore Exchange. On its assets are the Senoko Waste-to-Energy Plant (formerly known as the Senoko Incineration Plant built at a cost of S $560 Million), the Keppel Seghers Tuas Waste-to-Energy Plant and the Ulu Pandan NEWater Plant.
Keppel says KGT’s investment objective is to invest in “green” infrastructure assets in Singapore and expand globally, with a focus on Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Keppel has distributed 50.5%, or 326 million KGT units to its shareholders, in the ratio of one KGT unit for every five Keppel shares owned.
As energy becomes SCARCE and with this company focusing on green energy, it has A GREAT POTENTIAL to be an EXCELLENT GREEN COMPANY OF THE FUTURE as it expands further into Asia (esp. China & India), Europe & Middle East.
Shareholders are unwisely disposing this great potential share at a relatively cheap, dirt price. Investment funds could be acquiring them slowly and probably GIC and Tumasek (ex-owner) who support high technologies companies may move in to accumulate their shares.
It would be good to hold on to the shares and see it rise slowly to $2.00 or more in view of its high infrastructure asset value, debt free, good consistent earnings potential and as a potentially sought-after green energy counter ! ! !

Is the K-Green 100 the counter for selling those 200 shares lot that KeppelCorp gave out as dividend? I bought 2 KC previously which means I can sell 400 shares under K-Green 100? Thanks in advance. |

I expect strong buying tomorrow when trading begins. Stable income, zero gearing + distributed to KCL shareholders @ zero premium $1.13 (NTA). More than half the scrips are held by KCL, so limited scrips available to public - likely to push above $1.30, my guess. |
