that is how they improve their revenue and profit.....if they just based on the ridership on mrt and bus..and rental income from taxi.....I don't think it is a good company to invest into |

Rental income - remember the retail and office rental have gone up a lot......I mean a lot. |

JP Morgan today raised SMRT while downgrading ComfortDelgro to neutral, citing SMRT is insulated from high oil prices while ComfortDelgro is not. Hello JP Morgan.... wake up and smell the morning coffee.... Trains runned on electricity which uses either gas/oil as input raw materials so SMRT is not insulated from high oil prices either..... Otherwise why do you think Singapore Power tariffs always follow the oil/gas price trend.... hahaha ....what a joke! SELL without regrets!!! |

dont mind that but most of the time...the train is stinko (ppl don't take shower before come out) and BO smell..... |

Mike: Farmer also posted the Philips rpt here on 20 Nov 07, can refer to it. The TP was raised to $1.70. FV raised to $1.80. Probably didn't anticipate the recent taxi fare. After the "bombing" on Fri, this counter is still going up today. I guess starfire is right, I really did miss the train. |
