If less than 10, any coffee outlet during off-peak hours can accommodate. For more pax, then we need a bigger space like a function room so that we can move freely around to interact with  one another. So logical choice would be either a function room in a condo or if any member has a GCB with a big, big garden..lol.   I like your idea of a fixed monthly meet-up so that if a member miss one cos of travel, work etc, he/she don't have to wait too long for the next one. Although I wanted the 1st one to be more " elaborate" like with dinner makan and wine, we can always make do for other gatherings with just snacks/tidbits or even potluck. If, say, a dozen members offer to take turns to host, we can easily have a monthly gathering. When it shake off, for this counter it should be fast n not drop slowly.
