city index commission is cheaper at $10 per transaction regardless of size. cmc charting tools are better and they do not have daily finance charge for open short positions held overnight.

both service providers have stop-loss and limit facilities(meaning you can set a stop-loss price to sell and a price to take profit to ensure that you get profits once the share hits your target price)

ok, because i am with city index and my friend is with cmc...... we are comparing CFDs service providers to see which is better.....

city index is cheaper than cmc because city index charges $10 per transaction regardless of size.... but cmc does not have any finance charges for short positions and cmc's charting tools are better......

heh.. not sure where the retracement line is at, but a 50 fibo retracement is probably a 20% to 30% drop... thats alot of losses to take...

U mean commission? Between 0.18% to 0.25% depending on your transaction volume per month. Finance charge overnight, yes, there is interest for holding short positions, it is based on sibor rate. Sibor rate is the rate banks charge each other for borrowing money between banks
