Happyday, why don't you short this stock now like you used to do. 2 months ago you were so bullish on Jade, but now you advice people to sell like its hopeless stock. You said Jade will be conglomerate like Keppel (got oil and real estate), with huge potential in real estate development in Malaysia, then when the Malaysia plan was scrapped, you said real estate is not a good business as it tie up a lot of funds. BIG is on firm uptrend now and i feel the worse is over for this stock. Why want to jump ship now when on firm uptrend and CE is most likely around the corner. Later this month we know TCT2007 will confirm the 4 trials showing good results. Plus CE will be meeting BIG this month for approval and BIG has everything CE wanted so they have no further reason to reject us and CE knows BIG will lodge complain for unfair delay which may lead to nasty corruption investigations. When CE comes out, there is a chance we can see this stock chiong 50% in one day. In fact, with CE in the pocket, BIG can commercialise existing markets of current DES players and force them to takeover BIG. And we know when CE comes out BIG will announce NASDAQ listing plans. This is also another strategy to force current DES players to buy us up. If they don't buy us up, we have the capability to be even bigger after US IPO and further eat up their market share. BIG even had the right CFO in place now to facilitate their USA listing plans. Kevin Sayer (current CFO) used to be the CFO for NYSE. IPO plans will keep BIG's share price well supported even after CE approval. And i told you guys before JNJ made offers to BIG before but key shareholders rejected JNJ's offer. JNJ is still in talks with BIG on takeover possibilities. In fact, i have also said before Medtronic, Abbott and Boston Scientific are talking to BIG on takeover possibilities. When CE comes out, thats when the real action starts for takeover scenario. For BIG, its the intangibles like the drug, biodegradable polymer IP and patents and positive clinical trials that is the most valuable component of the company. |

Seems this share cannot break above 75 cts., the price I previously sold when I bought at 65 cts. Too many shares in the market. Recently bought again below 70 cts and feel it is too snailing even though can see some gains; but compared to fast gainers, it is quite disheartening lol. |

I've sold this stock at $1.04 on 23May 2006 and sometime this year oit hit $1.10 and i've been shorting this counter using CFDs always made in shorting..don't waste time waiting for CE approval.....so many regulatory approvals so many rules by health authorities..and all their research miilions of $ going to waste with new better competitors..I respect Bengster for his indepth knowledge of Biosensor..but it is what makes $ that counts..never fall in love with a stock..switch out and U make > and recover all your losses.. quote="jang"]still a lot of meat left. minimum tp $1. DMG recently issued a very interesting report - Sinostar hv a long way to go - dun be affect by the profit-takers[/quote]...Hi where to find the report????Post here plse ..greatly appreciated.. Hi sold my Sinsostar at 80cts this morning and buy back at 76cts to keep 3 to 6mths...previous experience epure(buy at 78cts),Sino-envir(buy at 80cts),Juitian (buy at 67cts)...sometimes it is good to hold 3 to 6 months..including my BengKu..definitely not Sunvic or unionmet..petrochemical supply will not die..sure cross $1..if not I underwrite yr loss..ha..ha just joking but base on my 20yrs experience Sinostar will not fail U...hve to push higher..so far not rank by mkt capitalisation for QDII fund but with 169mil shares..sure will become insitiution favourities like ChinaEnergy,Yanlord,Synear,etc..not too late to accumulate |

I feel Microport is a farce, just like Conor. They had their China FDA approval in 2003, about same time when JNJ had their FDA approval in USA. I suspect they blindly copied JNJ Cypher's drug and polymer technology (the usual Chinaman style and IP is very difficult to enforce in China). We know regulatory approvals, esp in China, can be bribed and their ex-FDA chief was recently executed. How can Microport be so advanced suddenly back in 2003 and had their FDA approved in 2003 while JW's EXCEL only had their approval in Q12006. Microport are selling their Firebird at ridiciously low price and that is why they captured such a huge market share. EXCEL is selling about 40% below imported brands like Taxus and Cypher (because of high import duties and low manufacturing cost base in China compared to USA). Firebird is selling below half price of EXCEL. Freaking crazy and something is not quite right here. I heard Bear Stearns pulled out of Microport's IPO in NASDAQ. I think after some audit and due diligence BS discovered something they are not comfortable with. |

Biosensors has just confirmed that the acquisition of 50 % JW Medical has been completed, while the technical picture remains positive, with the stock attempting to break above its recent high of 0.71. As mentioned, this acquisition should hopefully add more stability to the share price, but with the recent volatility shown in the stock movement, traders would be advised to employ stop-loss levels in any trades ( stop-loss levels should be according to your own risk appetite). On a further note, the microport firebird drug eluting stent also uses a bio-degradable polymer (same as JW Medical) - apologies for the error). The question now is which product gives better clinical results (ie JW Medical EXCEL des or the Microport Firebird des). |

Should be $3! The takeover price. There will be a CE meeting this month at Netherlands for Biomatrix approval. BIG should be able to secure CE this time round. Blood clot issue on first generation DES played by media slowing dying down, plus Biomatrix can show no blood clots even after 3 years. If by October still no CE, I think BIG will lodge a formal complain against Netherlands CE panel for gross unfair treatment (2.5 years already while it normally takes 1 year) and CE Netherlands may be investigated for corruption. Don't forget what happened to ex-USA FDA and ex-China FDA chiefs. Can be quite ugly if investigation lead to corruption charges. TCT 2007 will also see NOBORI 1 ph 2, BEACON, STEALTH1 (3 years), LEADERS (partial 6 months). All 4 clinical results will be very good. Takeover will happen from Nov 2007 to June 2008. After CE approval, BIG will immediately announce NASDAQ listing plans. Listing date should be around July 2008, after EuroPCR May 2008 when full 9months LEADERS results will be announced. So June 2008 will be the last chance for JNJ to buy BIG up. I also think FDA IDE for Biomatrix will be coming out pretty soon right after Xience and Endeavor's PMA meeting in October. The biggest chiong will come next month. Today chiong because TA cross 50 ma already. BBs are loading up in view of bullish charts and in anticipation for TCT2007 and CE approval in October. Anyway........... Cheeeong Arghh!!!!! Congrats to our Jackjames for his courage and calculated risk buying earlier this month. Huat Huat Huat!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Technically, Biosensors seems to be forming a inverted head and shoulders pattern, with the head at a low of 0.625 (formed on 31st aug 07) and the shoulder at a low of 0.64 (formed on 21st sep 07), and the neckline at 0.71. This technical pattern will be confirmed, upon the break above 0.71, whereas, a break below 0.625, will invalidate it. The target price objective is 0.795, which represents a move of 8.5 cents from the neckline of 0.71. The 8.5 cents is the price diff between the head (0.625) and the neckline (0.71). However, bearing in mind the current bullishness in the mkt, the price movement of Biosensors seems rather mild in comparison. (At the pesent moment) |

With the confirmation of aquisition of 50% of JW Med, stock price is bond to spike since the share price of Biosensors can be said to be forwardly and "virtually" undervalued. Luckily I still hold some shares and hope to reap some gains next week for the low price purchases. |

According to Biosensors announcement on 10th Aug 2007, the 50 % acquisition will be completed by 25th Sep 07 (next week Tuesday), subjected to completion of due diligence. Once, the deal is confirmed completed, this will give more confidence to shareholders, and maybe provide more stability to the share price. JW Medical will also be presenting their 'create' registry on their Excel DES, while their China competitor,Microport, will be presenting their 'Firebird' Sirolimus DES, clinical trials, during the TCT conference starting 20th Oct 2007. It is interesting to note that both companies use the Sirolimus Drug, but JW Medical has a bio-degradble polymer - an eye opener to see their clinical/registry results, as Microport has currently the largest share of the China DES mkt (estimated 31 %, according to Biosensors report), vs JW Medical's share of 13 % (although some other research reports put JW Medical's mkt share as 25 %). Note that China's mkt is probably approx US$400 million for 2007. (expected growth of 80 % for 2007 compared to 2006). On another front, Biosensors hold a patent, whereby, any drug that belongs to the 'limus' family (this means Biolimus, Sirolimus, Everolimus, Zatarolimus), that is used in conjunction with a bio-degradable polymer, will be subjected to this patent. Currently, from my understaning this patent is only applicable in USA. As JW Medical has indicated (from Shandong Weigao Q2 Results), their international efforts are going well, this would imply that it is to their benefit, that Biosensors is now a major shareholder. Also, if JNJ were to conduct clinical trials using Sirolimus, with the Conors bio-degradable polymer, on the Conors stent, from my understanding of this patent (correct me if I am wrong),, they will have to pay royalties to Biosensors, upon commercialisation. However, in the 'real world', sometimes you may not be able to enjoy the benefits of your own patent, as you would have to fight legal battles all the time, to enforce your legal rights. |
