don't mention this one lah. This one really hurt many people's heart.it maybe the worst inderxer component . I think The CEO of Coscorp should resign himself since he managed the company so badly. don't know when sharesholdes meeting will open, if it open, we suggest that we sack him.

looking at only past 2 yrs div is $70. Current price looks good as long as it does not cross $1.16 still has abt 6%+ div. a lot ship related counters already moved or moving liao except this one. why is that so? bb still acc not enough huh? |

DELIVERY OF SEVAN DRILLER BY COSCO NANTONG The Board of Directors of COSCO Corporation (Singapore) Limited (the “Company”) wishes to announce that its subsidiary, COSCO (Nantong) Shipyard Co., Ltd. (“COSCO Nantong”) (being a subsidiary of the Company’s 51% owned subsidiary, COSCO Shipyard Group Co., Ltd) has delivered its new build Sevan Driller to Sevan Marine ASA on 23 November 2009. The Sevan Driller has completed sea trails off the coast of China and has started its voyage to Brazil for commencement of a six-year contract with Petrobas S.A. The self-propelled rig has completed an extensive commissioning and sea trial program, including speed trials confirming speeds above 9 knots. The Sevan Driller, the world’s first cylindrical drilling unit, will operate initially in the Campos basin at water depths of 1,800 meters. The rig is capable of drilling wells up to 40,000 feet deep in water depths of 12,500 feet. It is dynamically positioned with its own propellers, which receives GPS positioning signals. The rig is also able to operate in temperatures below 20 degrees Centigrade. It has a payload of more than 15,000 metric tons and a storage capacity of about 150,000bbl.
