Human ash is organic waste....so it iwll biodegrade/decompose naturally. So, no problem with pollution. Cremation is Spore govt decree...so, cannot do anything about it...gotta follow rules....even after life. |

actually sir, as I was telling Geojam, cremation will increase your Carbon print.. also if you put ash in plastic bag, also pollute the sea mah.. if the fish swallow it, then it'll gona get stomach ache leh.. Geojam, sir.. it looks like the saying is true.."wise man think alike, fools seldom differ too.." alas we belong to the latter category....'fallen' talent... |

chinkiasu, In Spore, no need to buy coffin. All cremated....if your family want to keep your ash, then all they need to do is buy a vase (proper word is urn) and buy a niche. For me, I tell my children, don't waste $$$$, just put ash in plastic bag, take a boat out to the sea and disperse it. |

according to Larry William on The charter on A/D information which I use to plot out the graph against the share price it seem that big big boy boy is play accumulated the share rite now and its should be on the way UP UP UP. Shplayer Sifu pls take note just for reference only; Play at your own risk, just for information at your own risk. |

Thanks geojam, my impatience had indeed transfered a lot of wealth to the patient. But the cost of loss opportunity is also high for holding & waiting. I think on balance, moving onto a more productive counter had more than even out my missed profits and losses. Often choosing which side of the coin one wants to be on is crucial to maintaining a meaningful vested portfolio. |

A few years back, they parachuted (iron rice bowl) BG Lim Neo Chian to become exec Chmn after the Suzhou Indusrial Park fiasco (the BG was CEO/Chmn? of SIP). It was a big mistake....and he was removed within a year. Don't think Temasek will allow anyone to tarnish this jewel.......so, corrective action will be quick and decisive....unless the incumbant is a member of the Spore 'Royal Family'. |

Sorry for blank post...some cock up . Anyway ST Engr changing CEO. Don't think much of the new CEO as he used to be the CEO of the company I worked for. Low profile and not much direction shown by him. Must check him out before investing in this co. now...Trade with caution |

singaporegal, My main holdings in this counter is about $2.00...have received a few years of generous divvy......so, no problem. The recent addition to the portfolio was for a punt ....but with reasonable FA backing....so, will still hold if level of capital gains dosen't satisfy my 'greed'. : ) : ).......as long as growth is still intact. |

Hi shplayer, yah... the 15.11 cents div is probably good incentive to keep this one for a while. Anyway, I believe you've already made some paper profits on this already? |

singaporegal, I am good at buying in but lousy at selling. This is due to my FA instincts. I still see growth in this counter....so still hanging on. On major price dips, I may even incerase my stake if there is still growth potential. However, the moment I see growth stagnating, I will run. Anyway, 15.11cts divvy coming. No worries. Thanks for your concern. |
