Investors form their own trading patterns after socked into the market for a period of time. Especially after they experienced the feeling of under the water, fly up to the sky, walk on the ground or in to a  tunnel, fire, tidal waves, breeze  etc ..... means

past experiences +  own risk appetite = individual trading patterns

Anyway, BIG is a good stock.

 Alert Admin 		Good strategy like Warren Buffet but not many have your firepower and staying power.  Those with little money and in great hurry to become rich like you usually take high risk and trade using leverage thats why they are less successful - Citibank research last year reported that the most successful strategy is still Buy and Hold! like you.

Yes, I dont use margin nor borrow fund.....too dangerous to borrow. I am well diversified into all investment instruments. . Every one cent movement of Bio is to me a gain or loss of 5 figures.  Had seen many big up and down last many years. Learnt to keep cool and stay invested as long as they are good stock. All I had lost(paper loss)  during the last few crises had since recovered well and they are good profit(paper profit)  now.   Lesson I learnt over the yrs for myself are....dont trade, dont borrow, dont sell too early, read widely, dont listen to hearsay, buy coy with good management, buy blue stk/avoid penny stk, know people who are inside ,stay long longterm and keep cool.......You wont lose . Happy investing and stay invested as I really believe 2013 1st half will be very good.

I dont trade stock.. only buy to keep long long term to sell much much later when price is really good. My overall investment result is  about  80% of investment is positive while 20 % negative. Hence still profitable. I hold several millions Bio stocks. My average price is just less than 1.00.

The i-seller is still blocking today with 700000 plus share to prevent upward movement. Anytime it hit 1.25 is met with big sale once the mkt weaker and back to about 1.22 or lower. Thats is the way they are pressing.    You dont need to report to SGX as long as you hold less than 5% share. Thats about 200 million share to manipulate the mkt. You just need two i- sellers

This is my calculated guess worl. I cannot offer you proof but I know its happening  . Look at EZION, a well manipulated stock.. watch out for its dive soon.

Hi infancybird..how U know the big block of seller belong to same person or persons acting in concert as one interested party..may be just what U think only because if big shareholders sell they must file with SFX and made public this knowledge and so far no such reports lodged yet.

 

Likely it Biosensor has peaked at 1.245-1.25 at this juncture  and just waiting for further news to drive up or down the shares..in fact  if you really want can  buy about 1.20-1.21 in big lots and sell off 1.24-1.25(proprietary traders doing that ,more likley than what U say the block of seller)  still can make coffee money..that's my personal suggestion..what's yr vie

Target price:   S$1.80 

 

Prefer stocks with earnings visibility/growth

In the absence of top-down growth and profitability momentum, we believe stocks that: (1) have specific earnings growth/visibility in 2013 or (2) are at valuation lows will outperform. Among the large caps, Noble, Yangzijiang and SMRT qualify for the latter. Bottom-up, we like SingTel, JM/JS and CAPL/CMA. Consensus estimates suggest Noble, CAPL, CMA, Wilmar, Genting and SingTel are large caps with growing earnings over the next three years. Always there is a about half million block at 1.23 or 1.225.  Base on these pattern, I concluded that the i-seller is part of insider BB belonging to the mgt. They acted in concert to cap the price at or below 1.225 so as to fix their M& A offer price at that level. Remember the mgt had doubled their issue share from 2 to 4 billion now with the newly issued share still waiting to be used for such M& A.   Our strategy as small retail investor is to be patient and wait for the company to announce their quarter reporting plus any other good news. If the Q report  can beat estimate , the stk price will move up but not much as it will still be capped till M& A is a done deal.If the Q result is within est or poorer than est, the iseller will use this excuse to press down the stock price to buy more stock cheaply . Still  i believe one day the stk price will be higher than 1.70..but.......when....... i dont know.

Insider trading is illegal in US. In fact, this is worse than insider trading. Biosensors is manipulating stock price. Buybacks are ok. But dumping stocks to suppress price? Never heard of this before. Maybe we are paranoid and accusing Biosensors of doing something that it is not doing?  Smiley 99

Hopefully till then it  will bring about a change.  I think the mgt has instructed him to keep it at that price so that their M& A price will not cause great dismay to retail investors . The last M& A was offered at 1.2215. This time may be the same or lower.  If the price of Bio shot up too high it may not be pleasing to offer Bio at around 1.22.  I must say this is my guess only, I may be wrong. However looking at the way the movement of the share price    & sale and volume pattern  seems to indicate these are typical BB  footprint . Afterall these Bio mgt`s   interference has happened to BIo several times before last  few years.
