Wow 1800lot sell to buyer and 3600lot buy from seller really a case of recommend to sell then they themselves buy in at low. Everybody knows Cosco Singapore profit next year is at least 4 fold of this year. Next year 2014 orders to be delivered is 2.4billion and 2015 orders to be delivered is 3.1billion according to my book monitoring but Cosco 3Q2013 says 7.2billion all to be delivered by 2015. Divide by 2 means 3.6billion 2014 and 3.6billion 2015. This year including Sevan 650 delivered this 4Q2013, total delivery for 2013 is only 1.2billion. Off Course contribution from shipbuilding is much less this Quarter with zero delivery and also write off inventories and " Expected Loss" also, still have 4million net profit. Cooking for next year good results. Ha Ha Ha

when people buy for rumours of result is good the price cheong up, when news are out the price drop. When people DO NOT want to buy due to rumours of result will be bad the price not moving up much or even down, when news are out the price will be UP. That is why there is a saying Buy on Rumours Sell on News Other wise will be Sell on Rumours Buy on News. Today the price will drop at opening and will be buy up for future, why ? Very simple, all the investors know that this is the worst, and since the worst is over, the market will move on for the next SIX months. |

When they announce the 1st Qtr results and it was bad gap down 5c, 2nd Qtr ppl expected to be bad also gap 2c. This one I would say also in line with their guidance that this yr will be shit. Chart wise seems to be forming a new base/floor at this levels for a move upwards. I rather a gap down than slowly eat you 1c everyday lol |

Didnt have time to scrutinize it but the 2 releases seems to contradict. One say-80% one say -60% in net profit, based on scanning only. Probably making this yr's numbers as bad as possible for next yr to shine. Was it a surprise? No, anything better would be a surprise!

Look through Cosco results but find it interesting. Don't worry too much. The drop in profit is due to abnormally high impairment charge on inventory and contract of ~50mil. Should be one-off due to the drillship cancellation. Else there could have been profit recovery. Anyway, the provision seems high and may end up been write-back into the profits again. | ||
