[b]Anchor handler Jaya Achiever sold[/b] March 11, 2010 Offshore Shipbrokers Limited reports that Polish Ship salvage have bought the AHTS Jaya Achiever (5,150 bhp), which has been renamed Opal. http://www.oilpubs.com/oso/article.asp?v1=9319 [b]Yinson Holdings Berhad's Yinson Tulip Ltd Proposes To Acquire An Offshore Support Vessel From Jaya Holdings Limited's Airia Jaya Marine (S) Pte Limited[/b] Tuesday, 30 Mar 2010 06:23am EDT Yinson Holdings Berhad (YHB) announced that Yinson Tulip Ltd (YTL or Purchaser), a wholly owned subsidiary of YHB, had on March 30, 2010 entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Airia Jaya Marine (S) Pte Limited (AJM or Vendor) to acquire one unit of offshore support vessel (OSV) (Vessel) for a total cash consideration sum of USD20 million (approximately MYR68 million) (Proposed Acquisition). The purchase consideration was agreed pursuant to commercial negotiations between YTL and AJM. AJM is principally involved in ship owning, ship chartering, ship management and ship building. AJM is a wholly owned subsidiary of Jaya Holdings Limited (Jaya) listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange in 1992. The purchase consideration shall be paid with an initial deposit of USD2 million (approximately MYR6.8 million) to AJM within five banking days from the date of signing of the MOA and the remaining balance of USD18 million (approximately MYR61.2 million) shall be paid in full by the Purchaser, free of bank charges, to AJM upon delivery of the Vessel, but not later than three banking days after the Vessel is in every respect physically ready for delivery and the notice of readiness has been presented to the Purchaser. The purchase consideration is expected to be funded via a combination of internally generated fund and bank borrowings.
