surprise surprise~! now at 9.25am...i looking at STI...its in a positive! wow...never did we expect this to happen after Friday's DOW went down so much right? almost everyone in the forum were quite pessimistic including myself tt Monday will be an extremely red day... | |||||

Wow, stocks have skidded lower further by 240 points.... With the Dow falling by triple digits in a single session lead to anxiety about a possible recession from unfolding fallout of sub prime loan. Weird, the above is taken lightly by investment community till now as the financial impact slowly reveals..... Why so long??? Since Aug 07 till now, its almost 5 months and yet some still remains very bullish... Wonder when will the full impact be reveal??? |

Oops forgot to add, STI breakthru the 3300 support level to close at 3287. Lost approx. 4% over this week, start of bull's cousin (BEAR) run... Anybody guess.... |

Jason, from the header of this thread, its is already splash with negative connotation......................... don't get your hope too high as probably recession is round the corner... will see this thread more often when market is down and bleeding in the red...  now you see it, now you don't......

i tried very hard not to be negative about this year and hope for the best that STATES wun go into RECESSION. Let's hope this year we see more months of green than red. Also hope sti index can be seen on trading platform... cheers

simck001, wise move. Just saw headline that "Wall Street headed for a rebound Monday amid speculation that the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates to ward off a recession", find that such move by Fed is getting more and more mundane with little room to move..... |
