" ....well, if one look for short term excitement, one may consider look at Wilmar, Capitaland, Noble, Genting, Cosco..... past performance is not indicative of future performance...sound familiar?...somehow some people just decided to be bored and park some money there, or is it ? as always.....

From the latest report, this one I dont know what to say. I consider i write off tis investment. Got to save money all over again. 5 to 10 years down the road, come back and see what happens. In the short term - there is nothing to be excited about this share.

Good for you bro to add rule #3, though patient is understood and needed for most things…always… If one park $4000 for 100-lot at 4cts, it goes up to 50cts in 10 years, profit (excl bro/inflation) is $46000, abt $4,600 per year, very good man, but then one should know much earlier whether it can hit 50cts or one prepare to lose some $4000……always..
Know of one Mr. Lee park $40,000+ for 10-lot B-cap at $4.00+, still under water down > 20% and waiting and prepare to wait, and not prepare to lose some $10,000+…always…

Q3 results are out. I am not very good at analyzing a balance sheet but I have to admit that I was hoping for a positive surprise. But those Q3 figures are bad. Hopefully this is attributable to the ongoing restructuring of this company. Mangement had been replaced and I guess all the ugly heritage was put on 3rd quarters balnce sheet. I f I were to restart with a new name I guess I would leave all the garbage in last quarter... I guess a lot of patience is needed. Let us hope that mangement is really prudent. good luck! |

OSIM took abt 1-2 years to go from 6cts to more than $1.50,, Informatics took abt 1-2years to go from 6cts to 22cts ....Biosensors took abt 2yrs to go from 60cts to more than $1.20.. Of course, every company is different and unique, if HanKore(Biotreat) can hit 50cts/80cts in 1-2yrs, very good already lah....especially for those who got it at 4cts...... BUT always remember these two rules: Rule #1 : how much you are prepare or willing to lose Rule #2: anything can happen...good or bad.

may be...it takes time for them to restructure loan and develop new projects...are you prepare to wait for 1-2 yrs, no problem for those who got the right issues at 4cts ? the stock screen name has been changed to HanKore now..... |

was reading in the sunday papers...jim rogers comments....apart from
commodities, he is betting on china's growing middle income consumption
in the mid to long term.....agriculture, water treatment (china's water
supply are getting polluted from all the shit from the manufacturing boom),
tourism.....i m thinking healthcare too! china's growing rich has health
issues from all the excesses....diabetes are at an all time high in
china (I m diabetic, so I follow diabetes news/trends), obesity which
contributes to high blood, cardio issues and gout etc.....) so i am selling out my tech stocks on nasdaq and focusing my buying in healthway (which has china as part of their expansion strategy) and biotreat (water treatment with patented technology) both are good value at the moment :) sure its all a calculated bet but thats why we are in the game! |
