Booming auto sales in China is driving NR price to record high again and again. Car sale in China had been growing by 10 to 15 percent a year.....That had been the case for the last 5 years and will be so for the next 5 years! In "installed base" for tyre is simply huge and that is driving NR price up for the last 2 years.!! It is very unlike to be a bubble!! My forecast is that NR price will stay above S$4000/tons for the next 5 years. |

...........the escalating price of natural rubber, from RM3 a kg three years ago to RM8.35 today, as well as the surge in petroleum prices which has raised prices of petroleum-based synthetic rubber, it makes sense to turn to reclaimed rubber. http://thestar.com.my/lifestyle/story.asp?file=/2006/6/13/lifefocus/14433323&sec=lifefocus I learnt more while doing more research on NR trend.....reclaimed rubber is something new to me. Look like there is a real shortage in NR and the surge in price is not all due the speculation!! Vested in GMG at 6c! Hopefully NR price can maintain above S$3500/tons for the next few years!! |

It is definitely a great news to GMG investors! When trading is changed to sing$ later, do expect the volume to pick up as punters will be able to contra without having to worry about exchange loss. Long term investors will not have to worry about the depreciation of the US$! FYI....for those who still don't know, NR hit another record high again today!! If the demand maintain NR price is set to go up further. New plantation will take few years before capacity can be increased!!! Meanwhile, the demand continue to shore!! |

China is just one of the many many countries that encountered NR shortage. There has been a sharp increase in demand from major markets such as the USA, France, Japan, and the Republic of Korea. Two other countries that also want to import Vietnamese rubber are Brazil and Argentina. Now, even USA and Europ have to source NR from Asia....typically. The full potential GMG is still very difficult to estimate....but for sure, it will enjoy record profit this year and its rubber plantation will worth a lot more if a new valuation is done. |

.......oil and precious metal price had corrected recently.... but as u are reading the above, NR price had already surgae to Rs 120 a kg. The supply shortage will drive it even higher!! Even if I give a 40% discount to the current price, GMG is worth a lot lot more than the 6c that it is currently being traded!! |

Why I'm convinced. Research on the rubber industry indicated that China will consume 2.3 million tons of natural rubber annulayy by 2010 (China Rubber Industry Association). China current output is only 750000 tons! There is a huge shortage. Even as of now, there already exist an inbalance between supply and demand. It is the demand that is driving the price up. I don't believe it is a bubble. I'm more bullish and believe GMG could worth up to 20cents after I benchmark GMG with some listed company that own rubber plantation. The net asset of GMG and earning potential should be upgraded soon and I believe that in no time many analyst will rush to cover this company. |

I spent the last 2 days doing some research on GMG and believe it is still way undervalued. I believe that it worth at least US$0.12, around 100% upside. Vested today at 6c. |
