Hi All, The volatility has caught most by surprised. I believe there shall be a rebound tomorrow after the initial drop. The market shall be supported by strength in the good earnings result from the big firms. The 3 banks should lend strength to the STI. It is always good to buy when ppl are throwing. |

Happen to read this post. Just to share. "Sunday, July 29, 2007 SINGAPORE: Singapore share prices are likely to see volatile trade next week after sharp falls on regional bourses following growing fears that woes in the US housing sector will hit the global economy, dealers said Friday. ................................................................................................................................................... Dealers expected further market volatility in the near-term and said it is too early for bargain-hunting. Phillip Securities research head Chan Wai Chee said while there is no fundamental change in the market, valuations are expensive. ?We?ve got plenty of time to hunt for bargains,? Chan said. DBS Vickers retail market strategist Yeo Kee Yan said the STI?s support level for the next few weeks should be around 3,360 points, with the resistance level at 3,520. " |
