Using CPF to invest in shares will incur the $2.50 per lot charge and a quarterly fee charge. So please take all these into calculation for your yield if u intend to go for dividend yielding stock like REIT etc etc |

Not forgeting UOBKayhian Securities and KimEng Securities, preferable with some recommendation. CPF a/c ....Yes. Each times using CPF to buy/sell, one must inform and remind the Dealer / Remisier that U are using CPF to either buy / sell. and usually after trading is done with, it will take about 5 to 7 days to settle buy /sell transaction. To check if it is settle faster, call them CDP office. |

Hi, leying. Do you make share transaction thru your broker or via online? For my case, I transact all my shares online. As for CPF, I just place a mark in the CPF checkbox to indicate buying of shares using CPF OA. Everything is done smoothly, no form is necessary and lesser hassle. Fyi, commission for trading online is lesser than via a broker |

hi leying, you need to tell your broker you want to trade using CPF. He will pass you a form to sign. Once submitted and confirm, you can start using your cpf to trade. Before you trade, you should check your stock investible limit as CPF allows only 35% for stock investment. Hope this helps. |

Can. First of all, you need to open a CDP account with SGX. After that, open a security trading account with a brokerage firm, i.e. DBS Vickers, Phillips POEMS, OCBC etc Go for REITs, it is stable and generate a higher yield than what CPF offers. Nearly forgot, you can find out more info from this author, Dhammapiya. I also learn something from his/her articles. http://www.helium.com/user/show/113189 |
