MR will only report their full year results in Feb 2008, so meanwhile be patient. At 0.60 ish cts, i reckon is a good support level to accumulate. as the falling in price is not in tandem with increasing volume. |

This company is loss making so far. The price movment of this counter is purely based on the information that it has found oil and gas and the find is potentially significant. Though cautiou myself, I do believe there is some true in it based on the information released by the company so far. If not because of the current market situation, I believe this counter would have gone past 1.50 by now. My personal view is it is a good time to accummulate - but do it with caution.

Loss making company. Just reported a bigger loss a few days ago. Avoid. It's very easy to push up this counter. Similarly, it's also very easy to push down this counter in a falling market. Beware. Might drop to $0.30-$0.40 level... |

My long term target for this counter is $4-5.
Now not many people know about this information.. even though it's $1.30-1.40 now... I can tell you it's super under-valued. Once people start to realize what this counter is about, $2-3 is no problem. In fact it'll explode once local media announces it... it'll be too late to go in then. Price would have shot up a lot at that time.
There are reliable information saying that this plot is BIGGER than Brunei! Now that's A LOT OF OIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Read the most recent SGX announcement if you want further details. Drilling has aleady started and it states that there is SIGNIFICANT RATE OF CONDENSATE!!! Details will be out once the deal is done...

LTD. DATED 12TH JUNE 2007 ? PRESS RELEASE BY CONTRACTOR AND OPERATOR OF TARAKAN OFFSHORE BLOCK The Directors of Manhattan Resources Limited (?MRL?) wish to advise that it has been informed by Manhattan Kalimantan Investment Pte Ltd, (?MKIL?), a company in which MRL wishes to acquire a 45% interest in (please refer to the announcement dated 12th June 2007 regarding the signing of a memorandum of understanding with two vendors of MKIL), that Provident Independent Energy LLC (?PIE?), the contractor and operator of the Tarakan Offshore Block, has made a press release dated 25th June, 2007 announcing that PIE has made a discovery on the block. The full text of the press release is as follows: Quote ?Provident Indonesia Energy as one of BPMIGAS PSC Contractors announced today the discovery of the ?Bayan ? A? field on the island of Tarakan, East Kalimantan. The discovery of Bayan is significant in that it has been made in deep horizon in what traditionally has been in shallow formation. The discovery well ?Bayan A -1? was drilled to a measured depth of 10,000 feet, and identified a number of reservoirs that may contain hydrocarbon. The testing of the well is in progress; however the tests on zones at depth of 7400 feet flow gas and condensate at significant rate. Evaluation of the result and the subsequent test for the remaining potential reservoir are underway and it is expected to be completed shortly. Follow up program includes drilling two delineation wells and a 3-D seismic survey to optimize the development plan. The well ?Bayan A -1? was drilled by PIE using a rig with 1500 hp capacity. PIE is the operator of Tarakan Offshore Block under the Production Sharing Contract (?PSC?), which was signed on 14 October 2003. The contract is one of the PSC?s that were signed following the enactment of new Oil and Gas Law No. 22 of 2001.? Unquote The Tarakan Offshore Block covers an area of 638 sq km, some of which are onshore. MRL has been advised that PIE has identified six potential hydrocarbon bearing structures, two of which are onshore. Drilling of the well, ?Bayan A -1?, which is located onshore, commenced at the end of February 2007. As stated in the announcement by PIE, testing on the well and evaluation of the results are still ongoing and is expected to be completed shortly.
