Stamford Tyres - Expects to maintain growth trend Serene Lim, 20 Jun 2007 Stamford Tyres says it expects to maintain its growth trend and will strive for better results in FY 2008 than FY 2007's. It will be paying out a total of 2 cents per share for FY 2007, comprising a first and final and special dividends. The company posted a 16.9% rise in full year revenue to $296 mln, due to sales growth in major brands like Falken, Dunlop and Continental and in its proprietary brand tyres. "Net profit fell by 25.5% to $11.6 mln." The business used $6 mln in cash in operations compared to the $4.8 mln it used in the previous year. Construction on its second wheel plant is expected to be completed in 2008. The stock was last done at S$0.63, up 2.4%. |
