BROKER CALL - Singapore's Hiap Seng target price raised to 1.25 sgd - CIMB-GK 6/15/2007 2:42:00 PM SINGAPORE (XFN-ASIA) - CIMB-GK Research said it has lifted its target price for Hiap Seng Engineering, which provides engineering and maintenance services to the energy and petrochemical industries, to 1.25 sgd per share from 0.97 sgd previously as it expects the company to secure more contracts from oil majors expanding their facilities here. "With the second petrochemical complex on Jurong Island almost a done deal, we estimate Hiap Seng to secure 100 mln sgd of progressive contracts from ExxonMobil from the second half of 2008 through 2009," CIMB-GK said in a note to clients. In addition, the brokerage said Hiap Seng and its partners CNOOC and China National Petroleum Corp are also eyeing potential contracts worth 15-50 mln usd for the supply of large gas compressors and topside fabrication works for floating production and storage offloading (FPSO) vessels. At 2.38 pm, Hiap Seng was up 0.08 sgd or 7.62 pct at 1.13 with 7.07 mln shares traded. |

Guys, dun be too worry abt the dip. Believe in a good company. Dun sell when ppl sell. A good company wun just collaspe overnight. I've been trading for over 15yrs. Have only cut loss a few times. Now i m holding on to this counter, sunlight , federal, C& G , Aztech, Bengkuang, KS energy & HL asia. I believe in these companies. But for HL asia n KS, i personally feel that it is too high to get in now. Good luck |

The XD for Hiap seng is 06 Aug 2007. I myself have 100 lots at 1.08 ( average out) . Anyway, u can try sunlight if u have the guts. buy in at 0.13. or u can monitor 1st. will talk to u again when it goes up. Now can only Shhh.. |

This is the latest insider trade . The price difference between the current price n what the director bought in is only a few cents difference. Company's growing but compared to hiap seng, is behind of course.

Oh, and the dividend is 0.05. the price will definately go up as ppl wanted the dividend. by that time, if the price is high enough, sell it. Dun wait for the dividend if the price is very high as is only 0.05. Cos Xd, the price will definately drop. Going up, to how high, nobody knows. | |||||||||||||||

Today is the best day to buy in . Yesterday closing was 1.05. Opening 1.08. Monday's price will be higher than today's closing. If u can, buy in today. Federal too. The price should be higher than closing before halting. Though price drop, is due to speculation. Based on good news, it shouldnt drop. Just like beng kuang. After halted, it open much higher but was shorted. today, less than a month, went up tp 0.9. | |||||||||||||||

I agree that this is a  company. last mth, its shareholder made the following transaction :
today the price is only 1.13. Is not far from their insider trades. Good buy! Price stagnent for the past few days. No wonder my Kakis confirm with me is a good buy today! Lets cheong after 2pm! Dun let this chance slip as monday will open much higher!

rebeccatann It all depends on yr holding power. This is a very good company. As shown below, u can see that the company is growing very fast. Doubled the profit each year. And , Everyday the share price for this counter is almost going up. Even if it doesnt go above 1.2 today, it will definately go up within this month. Thanks for yr info as it made me study on this counter! Definately going to buy today! Thanks! HI Is it true that Hiap seng will go up to 1.2 before 5pm? Earlier on, my Frd told me to buy at any current price. Saying that it will go up to 1.16 and had asked me to sell as soon as it goes up to 1.15. Didnt really believe until it really shot up to 1.16 within mins. Now she told me the next round is coming. The price drop is due to ppl queuing to sell at this price for a long time. True? Care to share. Do not want to miss the boat again! |
