Thanks Red1721, I did read up, and did some research : but the truth is : the warrant DOES not usually follow the performance of the underlying shares . Eg, STI shows an increase ; it's call warrant shows a decline, together with it's put warrant. These makes no sense to me. I felt cheated by all the Issuers. They can throw in names like implied volatility , time decay effective gearings and what knots, but if the warrant is not moving at the direction it is supposed to move against / or with the underlying shares, than I think we are feeding money into their pockets. Where are the integrity ?! Sigh, |

Hi, I had trouble playing any winning game with stock warrant. Eg.. purchased STI put,..and when market drops ,..my put warrant,..instead of moving up,..falls with it. This is real sickening. I felt so cheated by the Issuer and the explanation given was time decay and all the other elements. Even with time decay.. when market falls.. should the put warrant falls with it.. even if it's a little. I hv no good feelings about this cheating game...anybody has any insight to share.. maybe re-educate me and tell me I can actually make money from it ?! Thanks, |
