x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Anyone knows what will happen to corporate shortists in this counter? I mean the ones who specialize in shorting the Singapore stocks by large volumes. If they cannot buy back, or replace the borrowed stocks, what will be their position?

Or will there be a force takeover of my share at the aquasition price? As the counter is suspended, what can i do? Lost all the money invested?

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	An examplae of the best way out for many listed companies to give shareplayers a fair deal instead of having their investments dwindled by uncertain times and poor market conditions. Shareholders should rejoice.  Hope more companies follow suit to seek sales of their assets for delisting and unlock their asset values.  Singapore stocks and shares holders have suffered long investing shares in an undynamic Singapore Stock market.  At least with money back, they can move to the US, HK or European markets which are more exciting with ups and downs - not like SGX, just oneway down all the time. Kudos.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Can some expert pls cfm flwg : If buy now @ 0.22 cts, get back special dividend @ 18.8 cts, and the company is sold @ fair value 0.268 cts, that means profit is 0.22 - 18.8 + 0.268 ctns = 18.312 ctns per share. Is this calculation correct ?

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Hi master zhugeliang (like ur name!), I read the proposed agreement which basically suggest that shareholders will only get 90% or 0.24 upon completion and 5% after 9mths and the other 5% at the end of April 2009. The market did not appear to have reacted to this and the price seems to be hovering at 0.215... Wonder why ?

The cash consideration values the company at $0.268 per share, which is a 52.4% premium over the weighted average share price in the past week. The net gain from the sale is RMB781.3m ($152.7m), Asia Dekor said. Asia Dekor plans to distribute as much of the proceeds as soon as possible and delist the company subject to approval of the sale. Compared with other offers before the directors, the proposed sale appeared to be 'the most attractive proposal that is able to unlock and maximise the value of the company's shares and allow all shareholders to realise their investment and receive cash', the company said. Asia Timber Products plans to merge its operations with that of Asia Dekor and intends to keep 'substantially all' the group's management and employees.
