Hi Admin, I second Jacsoh comments. I think it would be really helpful to know the context at the time of the posting. Many times, user post that it is cheap, expensive, current PE etc...but these are only relative to the price at the time of posting. Many thanks for the great work! |

I think having a delete button that last only for 2 mins will be the best. I have tried out in other website for notes posting, and it works fine. Any typo, we faster delete and submit again. |

Hi Admin Hope you can consider adding the price at the time of posting : Posted: 29-Mar-2007 17:41 ($$$). This will make easy comparison to the current price. |

Hi lewsh88, Unfortunately, the normal form of a forum protocol is where we should be allowed to edit our comments .... To ask the Admins to help us to delete our comments will not only add on to their their work load, but troublesome for us to specially request everytime when we need to .... and, too, in most of the cases, we just want to "amend", not to "delete" ... can we ask the Admins to help us each and everytime we want to do so ? ;) If like yourself, think that amendment is not needed, you can always leave your posting intact, no problem .... however, please allow others like myself to have this option of amendment ..... :P Hi iPunter, No problem at all ..... :D . |

hybridinvestor... oic... I misunderstood... I agree with you... :) Also, many times, before I can finish composing my post, a 'popup' will 'erase' everything just like that. It's rather annoying to have to type all over again... :( |

I believe email protocol is for anybody to throughly check their message before hitting the send button. It is not necessary to edit once the message is sent because many people would have read. You can still remove the unwanted messages by requesting SJ admin to delete them. I have done this once. |

Hi iPunter, The answer is the same as why we need an eraser, a bottle of liquild paper, a back-space key on the keyboard, a "Cancel" option when using an ATM machine, a "Void" action when a wrong price or item entered to a cash register ..... ;) . |

Hi Admins, Notice that there is no edit function for posting from forumers. I'm not sure if this is design by choice or an overlook when the forum started out ... However, I would like to suggest and urge the Admins to consider adding an "Edit" function so that we can amend our own message after posting .... Thanks ..... :) . |
