Below from US market (see "Dow" thread). With oil inching higher now, BBs may switch back to oil stocks soon. Tech stocks are enjoying a rather surprising early rally now. I had always thought that H1 will be a quiet tech market and slowly rally by H2 when the market eventually accepts Vista. Beware and trade with care ya ... don't get caught at the peak now. --------------- "Crude oil getting back above $61 is a bit of a concern," said Owen Fitzpatrick, head of U.S. equity at Deutsche Bank. gonna hit $2 by april. co. used to be in the reds, no longer. Hopefully UTAC will be as competent. Nomura has rated STAT as 1.98. |

Stats breaks 1.33 and close above it will confirm upmove to 1.38/1.45/1.50. Not too late to park some fund in Utac, as its growth is as good, if not better than Stats. Once these few days break .86 means will be higher congestion range .88-.93 Looking at 1.00 by April. |

Stats has already moved up 2 cents today.One broking house might be thinking of bring stats into Hk. Quickly grab it before it really starts moving. So far the market has been playing Chartered instead.Utac is also too quiet now.Also , many houses has reiterated BUY for STATS and the TG is about 1. 5 above. Wish i had the money to buy more lots... |
