EDMI and parent SMB: What's the potential?

Although EDMI only announces financials half yearly, we can estimate its 1Q and 3Q performance from parent SMB results. My estimate of EDMI 1Q10 eps is approx 1.4c (1Q09 est 0.45c, HY09 act 1.58c) => 1Q10 eps is almost 90% of HY09. Performance in 2Q10 could be impacted by FX rates of AUD, NZD, USD and THB against SGD but probably will be better than HY09. Caveat emptor |

Interesting trade today. 1163 lots done...all buy up. Ave trade size 194lots. Buyer was clearing the deck at 28c....100, 338, 308, 317, 70 lots...same pattern as the buyer of parent SMB in 2009. |
