Yup. I am one of the believers that the market will correct sharply in late Jan or early Feb 07. Can try buying Put warrents on some ETFs. |

The sentiment now is: "If you can't them (bulls), join them!" .... Correction(s) predicted by most analysts in 1st half of '07, but market will pick up again to chiong on 2nd half. Trade with care ya! |

On 1.3.06 BT published an article "Money Matters" predicting that STI may hit 3,000 pts by yr end. It was written by Mr Wong Sui Jau, general manager of Fundsupermarket. At that time, STI was at 2,431 on 17.2.06. Now it appears that Mr Wong is correct as 3k mark is a near. |

Based on today's closing, STI is just 37 points from the 3k mark. Looks like she will close above 3,000 by next week to celebrate New Year with us ..... An unexpected shiok rally in December! (*Who knows STI may close up 3k mark by this week?!) |

My guess is that there will be a slow down from next week onwards. But seeing how the market is performing today, I'm not too sure now. |

My poll is there will be a year end rally, at least until the 1st quarter of 2007, STI index may reach 3000 to 3200 pts. unless there are major world events where it will cause the world markets to collapse. So happy investing. |
